WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7TH AT 11:00AM It has been awhile, Jose. Welcome back to our Center. It is always a great day when Jose comes to entertain us. The music will begin at 11:00am and continue until noon. A delicious pork dinner will be served for lunch. There will be lots of fun and plenty of raffle prizes. Dancing is welcomed. Suggested donation: $8.00/members $9.00/nonmembers ST. PATRICK S DAY WITH AL AND BOB WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14TH at 11:00 AM Hopefully, (if it doesn t snow again) Al Brock and Bob Clement will be here with some Irish tunes and we will enjoy a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner. We will fill the room with green as we celebrate St. Patrick s Day and there will be a free raffle ticket for anyone wearing a shamrock. Come and get your Irish on. Suggested donation: $8.00/members $9.00/nonmembers WELCOME, MIKE AND BEV ROGERS WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21ST AT 11:00 AM This day will be a real treat. Mike and Bev have been performing together for over 30 years. Please come prepared to listen to their original songs, the stories behind them and a little harmonica music. They have been received with enthusiasm by audiences of all ages. Let s make them feel welcome at our Center. Suggested donation: $8.00/members $9.00/nonmembers Senior Center Publications EASTER CELEBRATION WITH THE JUBILIEES WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28TH at 11:00 AM Join us as we welcome back the Lighthouse Jubilees for an inspiration hour of music as we celebrate Easter. The entertainment will begin at 11:00am and a ham dinner will be served at noon. Remember to wear you Easter bonnet for a free raffle ticket. Suggested donation: $8.00/members $9.00/nonmembers

Matthew Voccola from Collette, will be here on Thursday, March 8th at 12:30 PM, in the livingroom for a question and answer session. Come with ideas of where you would like to travel to and when. Collette has always given us a fantastic adventure. Any suggestions for destinations are welcome, please let me know so Matthew can come prepared to get you where you want to go...portugal, Greece, Morocco, National Parks, Grand Canyon or a river cruise. AARP TAX AIDE AARP will be returning to the Center to provide free tax help and preparation service for low and moderate income taxpayers. This service will be available by scheduled appointments on Friday s through April 13th from 10:00am to 2:00pm. To schedule an appointment, please call or You do not have to be a member of the Center or a resident of South Berwick to take advantage of this service. THERE WILL BE NO LINE DANCING ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH AND NO LINE DANCING AND NO LUNCH ON THURSDAY, MARCH 1ST. OUR NEXT ZENTANGLE CLASS WILL BE ON FRIDAY, MARCH 16TH FROM 10:00AM TO 11:30AM. If RSU 35 is closed, we will be closed as well. TIME FOR CARING FOOT CARE CLINIC 3/22 Provided by Lorraine Thomas from York Hospital the 4th Thursday of each month. Call to schedule an appointment. 4/12 HomeHealth Visiting Nurses will be providing foot care the 2nd Wednesday of every other month. Call for an appointment. BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS 3/15 If you would like a blood pressure check, South Berwick Emergency Rescue will be providing free blood pressure checks from 10:00 to 11:00 AM the second Wednesday of each month. The Center offers a wide range of activities from board games to exercise classes to line dancing, as well as opportunities for travel and adventure or the chance to just sit down and have a cup of coffee with a friend. There is always something going on at the Center, so come and check it out! We are open Monday through Friday and we are located in the South Berwick Community Center at 71 Norton Street. If you have any questions or need directions, please call or send us an . We look forward to hearing from you! VOLUNTEER INFORMATION The Senior Center simply would not function if not for all of the wonderful volunteers, who give of their time and themselves so generously. We are currently looking for volunteers for our reception desk and for meal help, including meal service and dish duty. We would like to provide a free meal to all our volunteers, but we cannot do so unless we know you are coming, so signing up ahead of time is a must!! If you have any questions, please see Sharon or Mona or call us at Many hands make light work, so the more the merrier! We are in critical need of volunteers to help with dishes.
