The Medicare Extra Help program helps to pay monthly costs for premiums, annual deductibles and prescription co-payments. Many people qualify and do not know it. For a married couple your resources (which do not include your home, car or any life insurance policy) must be limited to $27,250, and your annual income must be limited to $24,030. A single person s resources must be limited to $13,640, and annual income must be limited to $17,820.
