7 Staff Chat Get to know Michael Williams Technology Center Volunteer For the past year, Michael Williams has been volunteering his time every Thursday at the Technology Center to give back to the community. He enjoys helping seniors learn how to stay connected to their families through and texting. Michael also helps seniors stay mobile by teaching them how to download and use cell phone apps for transportation. Constantly learning, one of his fondest childhood memories is building trucks out of Legos, which sparked his interest in car design. Michael has since earned his automobile service and repair certification from ASE and his mechanical engineering degree from UCSD. With an emphasis on design, he is able to combine his enjoyment of cars with the knowledge of how to build them. Stop by the Technology Center with all your tech questions. If Michael doesn t have the answer for you right away, you can be sure he will find it out for you.
