1 The National Hotel is the perfect place to host your wedding. Centrally located in the historic port town of Fremantle, this beautiful four storey building combines classic/vintage styling with modern facilities. The first floor reception room has a 50 metre verandah overlooking spectacular High and Market Streets, whilst inside it features original fireplaces, vintage crystal decanter lights, jarrah floors and exposed brick walls. It is a room which is beautiful to begin with so whether you choose to decorate it with a couple of subtle touches or bring in an event stylist for more of a total transformation is entirely up to you. The first floor has the capacity for 80 guests at a seated reception and up to 260 guests at a cocktail reception. It also has its own private entrance and can be accessed via stairs or a lift. The whole venue is fully accessible for wheelchairs and the first floor reception room has its own private toilets. The hotel s rooftop garden, with stunning three hundred and sixty degree views of Fremantle right out to Rottnest Island, can be used for your photographs at no extra cost. On the ground floor there is a bar, where your guests can congregate if they wish whilst your photographs are being taken.

10 Terms and Conditions We have a minimum spend per head of $50 on food to ensure everyone gets some substantial sustenance. There is no room hire charge, however if you are taking the entire first floor there is a minimum total spend of $16,000 for a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night or $12,500 on any other night. Smaller areas are available with lower minimum spends, for example the High Street verandah. You may use the rooftop garden for photographs at no extra charge but it must be under the supervision of the manager. No booking is confirmed until a non-refundable deposit of at least $1,000 is received towards your function for the entire first floor. A further $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required 2 months prior to the wedding. All deposits will be deducted from the bill. Cheques can only be accepted 14 days before the event and should be made payable to Carnegies Fremantle Pty Ltd. Final numbers for food purposes must be provided no less than 7 days before the wedding function date. The minimum spend for the wedding must be paid in full no less than 7 days before the wedding function date. Any charges exceeding this amount can be paid on the night, however a credit card must be provided before the start of the function. Any alcohol gifts must not be opened on the premises. The National Hotel practices responsible service of alcohol within the guidelines set down by Racing, Gaming and Liquor. Any person deemed to be intoxicated or behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the premises. Proof of age ID may be requested. Outside suppliers may be used at your discretion or we can help you with recommended suppliers. We do not accept liability for gifts, belongings or equipment left on our premises. Management reserve the right to adjust music levels to suit our house policies and for the comfort of our guests. Bands and DJs that do not comply will be stopped from playing.
