MORNINGTON TAERN In 1974 a group of local Businessmen got together and built the Icon known to us as the Mornington Tavern. To our locals it is fondly referred to as Their Lounge. The Tav is a great resting place for weary travellers and country folk with panoramic views of St Kilda and the Pacific ocean and is often referred to as the country pub of Dunedin. It is well renowned for its quality country style portions and hospitality. The schnitzel is possibly the best in New Zealand just saying. A pub is only as good as the people who use it and we have great bunch of good buggers who frequent their lounge regularly. The Mornington Tavern May be the best pub in the world.
