22 Policies Tax & Gratuity An 8.25% sales tax and 20% service charge will be applied to all food and beverage prices. Tax does not apply to alcoholic beverges. Function Space Private rooms are assigned to the number of guests and special set up requirements at the time the event is booked. The Greenspoint Club reserves the right to transfer the event to a more appropriate room if the number of guest changes Damages The host will be responsible for any damages or lost merchandise. The Club cannot be responsible for items left after an event. Please arrange for all items (gifts, guest books, flutes, etc.) to be removed when your party is over. Menus The Greenspoint Club holds the right to make revisions to existing menus. If the function sheet is not signed and in place prior to the event, the host will be expected to abide by the menu. Guarantees A guaranteed number of guests attending a function are required five- (5) business days prior to the event. If no guarantee is given, the expected number of guests will be considered the guarantee. If the number of people who attend the function is higher than the guarantee, you will be billed for the additional guests. Food & Beverage Provisions All beer, wine, champagne and liquor must be purchased from the Club. No beverages will be permitted to be brought into the Club. Texas liquor laws forbid this practice. Due to Texas beverage laws and Health Department requirements, no food or beverage, with exception of wedding cakes, are permitted to be brought to or taken from the Club property by the patron. Cancellations Cancellation policy is noted in the special instructions portion of your function sheet and/or contract.
