Candidates must be; Single Unmarried, having never been married No history of pregnancy, having never been pregnant.

5 5 P A G E 5 Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival! Any Alice Lloyd College full time female student who is interested in applying to compete for ALC s Mt. Laurel Queen Representative can pick up an application form in DSC 205. The following is the criteria established by the Pageant Board of Directors. Candidates must be; Single Unmarried, having never been married No history of pregnancy, having never been pregnant. For the competition they will be judged on poise, personality, and overall appearance. There is no swimsuit or talent competition and the only public speaking even is when they introduce themselves to the general public at the opening ceremonies. The Festival is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend (May 22-25) in Pineville, KY. Deadline for applications is February 6,

6 P A G E 6 R.A Applications for Fall 2015 Now Available Students interested in applying for a resident advisor position for the fall, 2015 can pick up an application form in DSC 205.

3) Must be a resident student at ALC for one full year. 4) Must participate in an interview process. Deadline for applications is March 6th. Interviews will be conducted during week of March 13, 2015.

The Resident Advisors are now selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts as a fundraiser for the Spring Formal, which is scheduled for April 18th. The doughnuts are priced as follows: Regular Glazed $8 For all special varieties $9 Chocolate Iced Lemon Filled Raspberry Filled Kreme Filled Sorry, we cannot accept checks. The deadline for ordering in February 26th and doughnuts should arrive on March 2nd. 6

Eighty six students attended and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. 7
