3 Tonic There has been an increase in premium tonic water in the market place, with greater emphasis on using real quinine as opposed to artificial flavouring - Although you need to find your ideal tonic for your gin. The gin and tonic took off in India when British colonialists used the quinine in the tonic water for medical purposes and added gin to give it some kick. 4 Thomas Henry BARTENDER AND PHARMACIST In 1773, omas Henry for the rst time in history successfully enriched water with carbon dioxide. He did so in Manchester, England. To the very core of his being. e one who is serving the world this way is the perfect namesake for an even more perfect selection of so drinks.

5 1724 e essence of 1724 Tonic Water has its origins in the Andes, on the mythical Inca Trail. is is not by chance. is is where quinine was discovered. ere, this ingredient gains the authenticity of a product with roots in the region that go back hundreds of years. At 1724 metres above sea level. Not a metre above or below Tonic Water is premium quality tonic water designed to meet the demand for high quality cocktails and to accompany super-premium spirits. e name of the brand is derived from the quinine used which is hand-picked at 1,724 metres above sea level on the Peruvian Inca Trail which is where the Quinine Tree originates. Great care is taken to ensure that the best of ingredients are used and this includes bottling with pure spring water. e taste derived from this quinine is quite di erent to that experienced with other tonic waters giving a less bitter experience and a very pleasant slightly mandarin citrus note. e water is lightly carbonated to give a sparkle similar to those found in premium Champagne.

9 BATCH PREMIUM GIN To cra this exquisite and unique gin, the recipe rst demands a pure vodka, made from a minimum of ve distillations. ey then pass the smooth and creamy spirit through a gin head lled with juniper berries, coriander seeds, cinnamon bark and angelica root creating the core avour. Inspired by ancient Moor and Turk spice markets, fresh lemongrass stalks, orange peel, cardamoms, cloves, crushed nutmegs, allspice berries are then added and a signature frankincense and myrrh blend, for a sublimely rich, yet subtly spicy gin. 11 Bloom Sloe Sloe Bloom might sound like the name of a indie-rock band, but we're rather happy that it's actually the name of a sloe gin from G&J Greenall, the folks who brought us the very tasty Bloom Gin. It is made by macerating hand-picked sloes in their award-winning gin which features a oral botanical selection, including honeysuckle and chamomile. e classic sloe notes come through brilliantly alongside the delicate aromas the gin o ers up. A lovely twist on traditional sloe gin.

12 Bloom Strawberry Cup Bloom Strawberry Cup is made by steeping English strawberries in the superbly oral Bloom Gin. e result is an excellent summer tipple when served with lemonade. Served over ice with fresh cut strawberries and lemonade.

13 Bobbys A Dutch gin which was launched in 2014, Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin features a recipe inspired by the creator's grandfather, Bobby Alfons. It's made with a combination of local and exotic ingredients, including juniper, clove, lemongrass, cubeb peppers and rosehips. Highlighting the meeting of Dutch and Indonesian avours in the spirit, Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin comes in a bottle which harks back to the style of vessel used to hold jenever, with a pattern inspired by Indonesian designs. Served over ice with Fever-Tree Tonic, garnished with orange peel.

14 STAR OF BOMBAY A 2015 small batch addition to Bombay Sapphire's range. Star of Bombay London Dry Gin features botanicals that'll be familiar to those who love Bombay Sapphire, with a reassembled avour pro le (more punchy juniper, earthy angelica and herbaceous coriander), as well as some new botanicals - bergamot and ambrette seed. It's also been bottled at a robust 47.5% ABV Over Ice with Fever-Tree tonic and fresh orange peel.

15 Botanic Ultra Premium Botanic Ultra Premium London Dry Gin is produced by winemakers William & Humbert, to a higher strength than their standard Premium London Dry Gin. It's made with some rather intriguing botanicals, including mandarin, almond and Buddha's Hand, a type of citrus fruit.

Built upon a malt wine foundation, VL92 Gin has its roots in the Dutch genever tradition. e malt wine gives it its boldness; its complexity derives from the play between botanical elements that nish with the eccentric, citrusy endnote of a most surprising ingredient: coriander leaf. e gin is named a er a historic Dutch sailing vessel whose freight contained exotic spices too daring for the local genever recipes but wildly perfect for a VL92 Gin. 69 WARNER EDWARDS RHUBARB The Warner Edwards distillers in Northamptonshire have brought us another flavour of excellent gin. This time, they've gone all regal and created Victoria's Rhubarb Gin, which uses a variety of rhubarb originally grown in Queen Victoria's garden, hence the name, as well as their Harrington Dry Gin. They also add just enough sugar to balance out the acidity from the rhubarb, producing a spirit with plenty of sweetness and some subtle, enjoyably sour notes emanate from the rhubarb. Over ice with Ginger Ale and a fine slice of fresh lemon.

71 West Winds The Cutglass e Sabre comes from e West Winds Gin range in Australia, envisioned by Jason Chan, Paul White, Jeremy Spencer and James Clark. For the Sabre, they use a selection of classic botanicals including juniper, citrus and coriander seed, as well as toasted Australian wattle seed, which brings a wonderful creaminess to the table. Also, it appears to be named a er a sword. Which is awesome.

73 West Winds The Sabre From the West Winds Gin range, coming to us from gorgeous Australia, is the Cutlass - a 50% ABV tipple perfect for use in cocktails. Not only is it bottled at a higher strength to e Sabre, it also features Australian bush tomatoes and an increased amount of coriander seed in its botanical make-up. 74 Williams Chase Seville Orange Chase are based in Herefordshire and produce a variety of gins and vodkas using a spirit distilled from apples. Unsurprisingly this bottle of gin has a fairly he y whack of zesty Seville Oranges. Wanting a crisp, citrusy avour the chaps at Chase decided to use the oranges in their raw form rather than marmalising them rst and the result is outstanding.

75 Xellent A Swiss gin, made with a base of high-quality rye grain spirit, seasoned with 25 botanicals including Edelweiss, woodru, elder ower, lemon balm and lavender - the latter two are grown by Master Distiller Franz Huber himself It's diluted down to 40% using pure glacier water from the heart of Switzerland. A highly fragrant, refreshing and herbal gin, very suited to enjoying neat.
