Banquet Facilities Sportsman s Lodge offers meeting and banquet facilities for large and small groups; all with a breathtaking view of the Rainy River. We provide banquet services for events of all sizes including: Weddings Family reunions Company parties Small gatherings Business meetings Sunrise Conference Room - provides a beautiful setting with a great view of the Rainy River. Hosts approximately 40 people. Dockside Center Room - a larger room with the same great view of the Rainy River. The Dockside Center Room holds approximately 150 people. The Ambience... Hamburger Buffet: Hamburger Patties, Fresh Bakery Buns, French Fries, Lettuce, Tomato Slices, Cheese, Onions, Pickles and Condiments. Build Your Own Sandwich and Soup Buffet: Fresh Homemade Soup (pasta or lettuce salad may be substituted) Bakery Buns or Croissants, Assorted Meat and Cheese Tray, Lettuce, Onion, Tomato Slices and Condiments. Poppy Seed Chicken Buffet: Chicken Breasts marinated in our own Creamy Poppy Seed Sauce, Wild Rice Blend, Vegetable and Tossed Salad. Listed below are some of the options you can choose from for your gathering. All entrees include tossed salad, baked potato, bakery fresh bread, water and coffee. If a host bar is chosen, all beverages consumed are paid by the host. A bartender will be provided free of charge if consumption is over $350 per four hour period. If this minimum is not met, a $75 bartender fee will be applied. 9 Lake Tours Tour the Lake of the Woods area and take in the beautiful views and rich history of the area. Check out our itinerary options and call to book one of these trips today. Relax at the Beach (Half Day) Take a mini tour of the South Shore or Rainy River or head right to Pine Island. Soak up the sun, take a stroll or swim until your heart s content. Half Day Available 8am noon or 1pm 5pm. $485 per boat Full Day Available to schedule between 8am to 9pm. $729 per boat. Tour lasts 8 hours. You name the start time. Minnesota Lake Tour Boat holds up to 6 passengers Reservations required 24 hours prior to departure and are based on availability. All trips include a knowledgeable guide, an assortment of water and pop and are aboard a 27 Charter Boat with an onboard restroom. Enjoy our View- South Shore History & Wildlife Tour (Half Day) Tour along Wheeler s Point, stop and take a stroll on Pine Island, stop at Zippel Bay State Park to enjoy the view, wildlife and history. River & More Tour Tour along the Rainy River to the town of Baudette taking in the views of Minnesota on one side and Canada on the other. Stop just east of Baudette at Timbermill Park to stretch your legs, let the kids play at the playground or enjoy a snack. Enjoy a stop at Willie Walleye Park and take a picture with Willie the Walleye the 2.5 ton walleye statue. Take in some small town shopping or take a stroll along the walking path through Baudette. Tour north to Oak Island & the NW Angle (Full Day) Tour north across the lake taking in the views of the lake and wildlife. View historic Massacre Island, stop at our sister resort, Sportsman s Oak Island Lodge for a lunch and then venture on to Fort St. Charles a historic fur trading post established in After a tour of the trading post swing by American Point the most northern point in the contiguous forty-eight states and the only point in the United States, apart from Alaska, that is north of the 49th parallel. After a day of enjoyment, make your way back to Sportsman s Lodge and take in the views of the islands and waters of Lake of the Woods. South Shore to Warroad (Full Day) Tour along the south shore to Warroad, MN. Take in the views along the way including Zippel Bay, Morris Point, Long Point and stop at the port along the town of Warroad. The docking area is located along a beautiful park and the Seven Clans Casino for your enjoyment. Enjoy lunch at The Buoy, a dockside restaurant and gift shop. Let the kids play at the playground, try your luck at the Seven Clans Casino, take a dip in the all sand pool, hit a few balls at the mini golf or just sit and relax before making your way back. Relax at the Beach (Full Day) Take in a mini tour of the South Shore or Rainy River or head right to the beach for a full day of fun, sun and relaxation! Choose one of two beautiful beaches, Pine Island just four miles away from the lodge, or see more of Lake of the Woods and tour twenty miles north to Garden Island. Bring a picnic lunch and soak in the sun! River Tour (Full Day) Tour along the Rainy River to the town of Baudette taking in the views of Minnesota on one side and Canada on the other. Stop just east of Baudette at Timbermill Park to stretch your legs, let the kids play at the playground or enjoy a snack. Enjoy a stop at Willie Walleye Park and take a picture with Willie the Walleye the 2.5 ton walleye statue. Enjoy a lunch and gourmet coffee at the Smiling Moon café just walking distance from the dock. Take in some small town shopping or take a walk to the Lake of the Woods museum. 10 Policies & Procedures Prices are subject to change and do not include sales tax of 6.5% and a service charge of 18%, both of which will be added to your bill. Payment and Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $600 is required for any event at the time of booking and will be deducted from your total bill. A bill will be sent to the responsible party after the event and can be paid with a personal or business check or credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. If any questions arise concerning a bill, please contact Diana as soon as possible at ext which includes setup and tear-down. The bar will remain open until 12:00 a.m. and clean up will begin at that time. If you are planning a longer dance an additional fee of $300 per hour will be charged. Table Arrangements & Services: Tables will be set up in the arrangement that will best suit your group and function. We provide a white plastic covering on the tables for no charge. Linen rentals are available at an extra charge. Table decorations are your responsibility, however we do have some items available for rental for your convenience. Guarantee: We guarantee that we will prepare enough food for the number of guests you are planning for. We allow you to change the number of guests in your party up to seven days prior to the event. You will be charged for the numbers reserved. The person booking the group will be responsible when separate tickets are used and numbers are short. Please let us know how payment will be handled prior to the event. Payment is expected within two weeks of receipt of the invoice. Dances: If you would like to bring in a band or DJ, the cost and booking will be your responsibility. All dances must have a dance floor. We provide a portable vinyl dance floor rental for $175, 18 19
