6 COMING TO THE OUTLET SHOPS OF GRAND RIVER Grand River Drive-In Formerly Coyote Drive-in, Grand River Drive-In plays first run movies as well as classic favorites and themed movie events on 4 screens. The venue combines the nostalgia of the 60s drive-in experience with modern amenities and four terrific restaurant choices. Guests can also enjoy our 18-hole mini golf course and for children there s a playground and yard games such as corn hole, horseshoes, bocce ball and more. Taking center stage is the new event area which features a full concert stage. Post Office Pies Another award-winning restaurant, has been named one of the top 12 restaurants in Birmingham. They are committed to using fresh and local ingredients whenever possible and feature both vegan and gluten free options on their menu. One of their most popular specialties, better known as the Swine Pie, is exclusive to Post Office Pizzas, and is laden with thick slabs of pepperoni, savory sausages, and bacon covered cheese and topped with fresh basil. Neighbor s Beer House Where everyone will come to gather. Neighbors is a new brewpub offering a distinct selection of handcrafted ales. Snack Shack Event Area Enjoy a drink, have a snack and watch a concert. Or kick back and enjoy a movie from the patio seating. The area will also host seasonal festivals and events. The area will have perimeter fencing with table seating that overlooks both the interior of the event area and all the screens. 8 GRAND RIVER ATTRACTIONS The Barber Motorsports Park is a 880-acre multi-purpose racing facility located 4 miles from The Outlet Shops of Grand River. It was built by George W. Barber, and includes the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum. With more than 600 motorcycles on display, the museum features the largest collection of motorcycles in the world. Barber Motorsports Park is also the home of the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama, the Mercedes Test Track, and Porsche Driving Experience. 10 REGIONAL SPORTS PARK GRAND RIVER ATTRACTIONS: COMING SOON Fueling Growth In Leeds, Alabama Projected opening 2019 Buc-ee s, the Disney World of gas stations is coming to Leeds. The Buc-ee s travel store (40,000 square foot retail store and 110 gas pumps) will be situated at Exit 140 on approximately 15 acres across from Bass Pro Shops. $25 million in convenience store sales. Over $40 million in fuel sales (18 million gallons of gas pumped) Buc-ee s will employ approximately 208 people in full-time positions. Grand River Parkway Bridge Projected opening 2020 This project is currently being engineered and designed with construction to commence in Regional Sports Park Projected opening 2021 The state-of the-art sports complex will be a 501(c3) in partnership with the Alabama Sports Foundation and will host club teams. This venue will be a hub for regional competitive tournaments. This facility will bring an average 3,000-5,000 kids per day, 4 to 5 days a week for practice and games.
