1 Functions are our strength. We love doing functions at The Lake House as this venue is perfect for this type of event. Our mission is "to be the best venues for functions, events and hospitality in the South Island". Located on the edge of the beautiful and serene Lake Hood, The Lake House Restaurant, Bar and Venue can cater to all your function needs. Nestled in Marina Bay and overlooking the Southern Alps, this stunning location is perfect for dining, meetings, corporate functions, team building, family celebrations and much more. All while sampling some of New Zealand s best local food and beverage products. We offer numerous private rooms and function areas at the venue. The Main Restaurant will seat up to 110 for dining. Our Galley Room seats up 35 for dining. Our stunning alfresco main deck can cater up to 100 cocktail style plus there are several other areas for mingling with canapés and beverages. We offer several menu options to suit your style and budget. 3 . Birthday Parties, Weddings, Anniversaries, Engagement Parties etc We are the special celebration occasion venue we do many many celebrations. From weddings to 90 th birthdays to corporate presentation evenings to 5-year-old birthday parties. We can cater to all of your needs. Top end set menus to spit roasts and everything in between. Choose your space, your menu and let us help you with theming and decorations or bring them in to us and we will help you with it. If you are coming in for a birthday dinner then why not sign up to our VIP programme then you can dine for free on your birthday with a group over 3. We can also arrange a cake for you. We bake everything on the premises so are happy to bake to order. If you want to bring in your own cake, no problem but we do charge a $2 per person fee Cakes We are able to provide cakes for your special celebrations. We do require at least 3 days notice. TEAM BUILDING INSPIRATION PACKAGES In addition to your corporate or conference experience we can help tailor make an individual team building experience to meet your company s needs. We have partnerships with local Mid Canterbury Companies specialising in; Clay-bird Shooting, Archery, Paint Ball, Mini Olympics, Golf, Sailing or Water Skiing. There is a multitude of offsite options including, Sky Diving Jet Boating, Helicopter Flights, Hot Air Ballooning, Horse Trekking, White Water Rafting, Aviation Museums and much more.
