City Cruises are proud to have carried over four million customers on board our vessels every year. We have been in operation since 1985, with the largest fleet of passenger boats in central London on the River Thames. All of our crew and staff are put through regular and strict training programs that result in a high quality level of service throughout the products and packages that we offer. All our fleet is unified in livery with seventeen boats to choose from, with a wide range of prices, shapes and sizes for all your event requirements. Our boats are well maintained and have large windows for viewing, with the majority having a modern interior and full accessibility. Uniquely, City Cruises are the only boat company in London to offer cheaper evening than daytime hire and have preferential rates for charters of boats of this size and quality. Our experienced and knowledgeable team can help you arrange your event from start to finish. Based on the initial brief of your event requirements (advising what your event is for, what is essential, type of food, entertainment, bar etc.), the team will be able to offer you helpful tips and suggestions to ensure your event is perfect. Which boat should I choose? We would highly recommend that, whilst you consider the boats that are on offer, you allow our experienced team to match your requirements, and the number of guests, to the ideal boat for your event. We are also happy to guide you through your event with your preferred vessel (subject to availability). Helpful Information from you to us:- How many guests will be attending? What type of event are you arranging? Will I require food? if so what type of menu do you have in mind. Will I require entertainment? Are you looking for a disco, band or other form of entertainer? AV Facilities? Do you require a sound system, screens and projection equipment. Why we are different? All of the staff assigned to your event will be in full uniform. During normal operational hours, your guests will be welcomed by meet and greet staff at your chosen departure point of either Westminster Pier or Tower Pier (should you require meet and greet services out of normal operational hours or at a different pier this can be arranged but there will be a small supplement charged) and ensure they are directed to the correct boat with a welcoming smile. 2 The Charter Fleet City Cruises extensive fleet of River Thames cruisers can accommodate any event, from an intimate couple to a larger group of three hundred and fifty guests for buffet, sit down or canapé-style event. For your very own private sightseeing trips, there is room for up to 600 people. Our flagship vessel, the MV Millennium Diamond,, is a first for the River Thames. With the feel of a Cruise liner; floor to ceiling panoramic windows and a bar spanning the entire length of the aft of the Saloon, she is the perfect venue for any event, function, party or reception. She has a state of the art audio and visual equipment including built in sound system, dance floor, party lighting, 6 LED screens and drop down projector screen. Facilities include a separate disabled toilet and built in chair lift to the vast top deck. Capacities: Formal Dining 188 Buffet Sightseeing/Transfers 595 We have four modern RiverLiners to choose from, all with the capacity for up to 495 passengers. With panoramic windows in the lower saloon and an open top deck, they are suitable for your very own tailor-made sightseeing trip (we can provide commentary in six languages too). Equally, with on-board catering, two bars and a dance floor, they are great for birthdays, wedding celebrations, parties, special group or corporate event. Wheelchair accessible with on-board facilities. Capacities: Formal Dining 220 Buffet 220 Party 300 Sightseeing/Transfers 495 Newly refurbished, the MV London and the MV Time are perfect for any function whether it be lunch on a sunny afternoon, a dinner with live entertainment, a family party or a business presentation. These boats can accommodate 100 and 128 guests for a sit down meal, they have a spacious dance floor, a built-in sound system, two bars, panoramic windows, and are wheel chair accessible with separate disabled toilet facilities. Capacities: MV Time Formal Dining 128 Buffet 140 Party 200 Sightseeing/Transfers 495 Capacities: MV London Formal Dining 100 Buffet 140 Party 180 Sightseeing/Transfers 350 Perfect for a small more intimate gathering the MV Mayflower Garden can host a formal lunch, dinner or buffet for up to 60 guests, or a 100 guests for a standing finger buffet. She is equipped with a bar and large dance floor, with large windows and a huge open deck, to give some of the best river views of London. One of our most popular boats in both Summer and Winter offering swift journey times as the quickest of our cruising boats. Wheelchair accessible with on-board facilities. Capacities: Formal Dining 60 Buffet 60 Party Sightseeing/Transfers 120 Recently refurbished, the MV Westminster has an elegant teak-lined saloon that s perfect for private dining, a champagne or cocktail cruise. With a wide open upper deck with seating round the edge of the boat she s a great setting for an open top cruise with live music. A favourite with our clients who prefer a more traditional boat for their event. Capacities: Formal Dining 60 Buffet 70 Party 80 Sightseeing/Transfers 120 One of our smaller vessels, the MV Eltham has one enclosed lower deck. The entire upper deck is open with plenty of seating. She works well for smaller groups and we can offer buffet and canapé options on this boat. She underwent a full refurbishment in 2016 with a reconfiguration. Capacities: Formal Dining Buffet 50 Party 60 Sightseeing/Transfers 120 Ideal for transporting small groups over short distances in comfort, the MV Princess Rose is a single-deck vessel with an enclosed saloon, and fully-upholstered perimeter and island seating. She has an open area at the front too, which is great for taking those all-important photos to show your friends and family back home. Our slightly larger MV Eleanor Rose is a double-deck vessel. A small outside area is accessible to the front of the boat. Both boats work well for events with restricted budgets. Capacities: MV Princess Rose Buffet 30 Party 30 Sightseeing/Transfers 50 Capacities: MV Eleanor Rose Buffet 60 Party 60 Sightseeing/Transfers 120 For those of you that are looking for a bit more of an adrenaline fuelled event, our Thamesjet boats will give you an action packed full-on adrenaline-fuelled ride. The only jet boat fleet on the river (apart from the Police or Military boats which patrol the Thames), our Thamesjet experience is great for birthdays, corporate events, team building or stag and hen parties. Our 12 seater Thamesjet boats can be hired out for an hour to a full day, why not finish off the event with a lunch, dinner, canapés and/or drinks on our permanently moored sister ship, the The R.S.Hispaniola (just a few minutes walk from Westminster Pier).
