9 UR HTEL The Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is centrally located in the beautiful downtown Provo with complimentary self parking for event guests. With our newly renovated event space, our luxurious Grand Ballroom can host a reception for up to 1,000 guests. For added flexibility, the Grand Ballroom can be divided into four sections (See floor plans and capacity chart) We also have various other event space to create an excellent overall event. EVENT SERVICES Each booked wedding will be assigned an Event Manager to facilitate the hotel provided service. ur professional Event Managers will help create and customize any event to meet your vision. Services included in the event detailing process are: menu tasting, room diagram, guaranteed attendance and final payment, vendor set-up coordination and guest room block maintenance. ur Red Coat staff will be there to handle all the details and carry out your perfect wedding. MENUS ur menus can be seen as guidelines only. ur event and catering sales team will be happy to prepare customized proposals to meet your specific needs. Special accommodation for special dietary requirements can be arranged through your Event Manager. FD & BEVERAGE nly food and beverage provided by the Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center may be consumed on the hotel premises. Special items, such as a wedding cake may be provided by a third party with signed food waiver. ALCHLIC BEVERAGES The sale and service of all alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. The Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center is responsible for the administration of those regulations. No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the hotel for a banquet function. All alcohol must be provided by the Hotel. GUEST CUNT Final guarantee of attendance is required 72 business hours prior to your event to ensure the highest quality of food and staffing levels for your wedding. This will be considered a guarantee for which you will be charged. AUDI VISUAL EQUIPMENT State-of-the-art audio visual equipment and lighting can be provided by the Hotel. Current tax and service charge apply to audio visual pricing. DECRATINS Decorations or displays brought into the Hotel must be approved prior to arrival by the Event Management team. Items may not be attached with nails, staples, tape or any other substance in order to prevent damage to the fine fixtures and furnishings. PRICING & BILLING An advance deposit will be required at the time of the contract to confirm an event on a definite basis. Final payment is required 10 days prior to the event. Cash, check or credit card are acceptable forms of payment for the event. MARRITT REW ARDS PRGRAM Earn points for future stays at the Marriott Hotels or frequent flyer miles with 17 airline partners if you become a Marriott Reward Guest. The Hotel offers three points or one mile for every dollar spent (facility charge and tax not included) on food, hosted beverages, and ceremony/reception charges. There is a maximum of 50,000 points or 15,000 miles per event and points will be processed 4-6 weeks after your wedding. VENDR INSURANCE All vendors operating on hotel premises for your event must provide a Certificate of Insurance no later than 10 days prior the event. NN SMKING HTEL As per state code, smoking is not allowed in any area in the Provo Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. Designated smoking areas are located along certain outdoor areas of the Hotel.
