3 3 The great international wine and olive oil event CIN VE YEARS IN SEARCH OF THE BEST WINES 10 YEARS IN SEARCH OF THE BEST OLIVE OILS CINVE is a prestigious international wines and spirits contest that is holding its fifteenth edition this year in Cáceres, including the International Virgin Olive Oil Tasting event the 1st International Sake and Shochu contest this being the first contest of this kind to be held in Spain and the third most important in the world. 6 6 CÁCERES, world heritage town venue for CINVE 2019 CINVE 2019 will take place in Cáceres, capital of Extremadura and UNESCO World Heritage Town, from March 31st to April 3rd. This town has one of the most complete mediaeval and renaissance urban quarters, when wine was highly appreciated by the inhabitants of the peninsula. For the first time, there will be 3 international contests in this edition: 15th edition of the International Wines and Spirits Contest 10th edition of the International Virgin Olive Oil Tasting 1st edition of the International Sake and Shochu contest More than samples of wine, olive oil, sake and shochu from all over the world, which will be evaluated by 4 wine and spirits commissions, 2 oil commissions and 2 sake commissions, under the technical direction of: Jesús Flores Technical Director for Wines and Spirit Anunciación Carpio Technical Director for Virgin Extra Olive Oil Marie Cheong-Tong Technical Director for Sochu

15 SAKE in Spain Sake is an alcoholic drink fermented in a similar manner to wine, using rice, water, a mould called KojiKin and yeast. It has 14%-16% alcohol content, although it can also be found with a lower content (8%), as well as undiluted (18%). It is an elegant nuanced drink which many call liquid silk. Spain has become the principal maker of sake in Europe with just two producers: Kensho and Seda Líquida, both in Catalonia. 15
