1 DINNER RESTAURANT In the early 1960s, Bucks County native and entrepreneur Earl Hart Jamison had a dream. He purchased a plot of land in Lahaska, with only a farmer s chicken barn, a hatchery and chicken coops, nicknamed Hentown by the locals. Earl transformed these humble buildings into 14 shops and the Cock n Bull Restaurant, offering traditional American fare served among the antiques and fine Pennsylvania folk art from the Jamison family s personal collection. The Peddler s Pub made its debut in 1968 with stick-to-your-ribs soups, sandwiches and 1/2 yards of beer. In 1984, Hart s Tavern opened for lively libations and light dining. The ongoing dining attractions that have made Cock n Bull a favorite dining destination through the years include Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, and Sunday Country Brunch. Cock n Bull has also become a sought after setting for elegant weddings, holiday and retirement parties, reunions, and business conferences.
