4 NORTHUMBRIA UNIVERSITY HOSPITALITY Recipe for success - booking Hospitality on Bluerunner Organising an event and not quite sure where to begin with the catering? Bluerunner is an easy to use online system to book your hospitality. This system enables you to manage your hospitality catering bookings more effectively and efficiently. It s as easy as shopping online; just enter in your cost code, choose your items, tell us where and when you want it and add it to your basket the rest is up to us. Step by step Once you know when and where the event is taking place book it onto the system so we know it s coming up, don't worry orders can be amended or cancelled at a later date. Don t forget when choosing a building and room that it is suitable for your hospitality to be served in. Make sure it has sufficient space for what you have ordered and don t forget to check it has table provided. Eating on your knee is not a good look!!! You only need to enter one single booking for an all-day event, no need to enter separate bookings for each refreshment break. Saving you time and stress! To make sure everything is correct with your order we ask that you please stick to our ordering times. - Order up to 72 hours before for food orders, remember this doesn t include weekends, if you are wanting an order on Monday you will have to place the order on the Wednesday prior to this. - Drinks can be ordered up to 48 hours before your event and this also includes pre-packed items (biscuits, cookies, Fairtrade bars). - Once an order is made it can be amended but still has to be within the above timescales. The system will not allow you to make changes once these timescales have passed. You can tailor your order to fit specific needs, dietary requirements or add bespoke items.. - Tea and coffee comes automatically with milk so there is no need to order milk separately. Soya milk is also available to order if your guests require it. - Enjoy one of the many options offered in our menu shake it up with platters - Delicious Hot fork buffets are only avaliable in selected venues and spaces to ensure your service is enjoyed by all. And please don t forget to leave all cutlery and crockery in the room when you leave and our team will come and tidy up after. 22 NORTHUMBRIA UNIVERSITY HOSPITALITY White Wines Rey Viejo Blanco NV Light and refreshing Spanish white wine mainly made of Sauvignon Blanc and Airen. It has a delicate and floral nose with some subtle peachy fruit. The palate is bright, fresh and clean with some pleasant zesty acidity on the finish. Operetto Garganega Pinot Grigio Della Venezie Floral nose of jasmine and honeysuckle that is fresh and zesty on the palate. Good structure with a mineral finish. Alto Bajo Chardonnay Alto Bajo translates as High Low and reflects the varied regional landscape of Chile. This Chardonnay is deliciously fruity with lots of ripe, tropical fruit flavours but also the tiniest hint of vanilla. Valdivieso Sauvignon Blanc 2016 This is a crisp and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc with lots of citrus and gooseberry aromas. Crisp and refreshing with lemon and lime flavours together with a steely mineral quality Red Wines Rey Viejo Tinto NZ Classic Spanish red made of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Merlot, bursting with juicy fresh red berries and soft velvety tannins. It is light and refreshing with a lovely violet edge to the finish. Circa Shiraz Viognier A wine displaying aromas of blackberries and violets. The palate is full bodied with blackberry brambly fruits and coffee flavours. intertwined within a soft tannin structure. El Colectivo Malbec This wine has the typical deep, dark violet color of Argentine Malbec. The nose offers intense aromas of black stone fruit interwoven with notes of chocolate and sweet spice. Balanced acidity leads into a long, velvety finish. Lorosco Reserva Merlot Intense fresh fruity aromas of blackberries and plums, intermingled with soft toasty notes and sweet vanilla. 24 BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS To avoid any disappointment, please take a moment to read through our booking terms and conditions before making your hospitality request. Taste Northumbria is the University s chosen provider of hospitality and catering across all campuses. Before booking any hospitality, we ask that you ensure that the room you hope to use is available and is suitable for the consumption of food. It is your responsibility to ensure tables and sufficient area of space has been set up ready for the delivery of your Hospitality order. It also helps us enormously if you can state when the room will be available for us to clear. The food options in the brochure are for service and delivery between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. A member of our team will be happy to discuss possible options if your request falls outside of these hours. Charges may apply. If you re ordering a buffet, we would require 72 hours notice to ensure we have the freshest produce available. Vivreau water will be presented in branded bottles and food will be presented accordingly. Additional charges may apply for bespoke requests or any non-returned display wares Water (750ml) will be delivered in a branded water bottle and food served on equipment such as boards and slates. These must be returned otherwise you will be charged.
