4 Page 4 We Are Listening Thank you for your comments and suggestions last month. Here are a few: Turkey was tender. Love the real butter. Sell soup by the cup, especially on cold days. Please have hot sauce or salsa when serving food like tacos. The pork in the pulled pork tacos had a good flavor. I would like bigger portions, not enough food. Lentil soup had too much water. Please make sure the food served matches the meal on the menu. Valentine s Day lunch and entertainment was excellent. Thank you for adding pictures in the newsletter in the In Memory section. Thank you for having Ricky Rivas. Nutrition personnel will discuss options with the kitchen to include more condiments such as salsa, butter, etc. with the meals. Personnel shared with the kitchen new soup recipes. Sale of soup by the cup is difficult unless done by reservation. Without a reservation, we cannot determine the right amount of soup to make without waste. The County dictates the food portions and whenever possible we add more than required. If you have requests for entertainment, please share; we love to see happy seniors. Donna Meester, Program Manager Gloria McClellan Center Marietta Matinee Miller Movie Free! Friday, April 20 th at 1:00pm Park Terrace Café Closed captioning provided for the hearing impaired. Marietta Miller
