Separate checks at the door. To reserve your place at this fun event, call Rose Marie Dishman at by February 9. The Hibachi Buffet has a widely, diverse sampling of Chinese, Japanese, (with an extensive sushi bar), Italian, and Mexican delicacies with a fantastic assortment of soup, salads, desserts, fresh fruits, and ice cream. Another choice is the Hibachi chicken or steak cooked by the Hibachi chef to your order as you watch. We look forward to a delightful party with great food and a reasonable price. Angelika Theater in Carmel Mountain is open with baby boomer prices on Thursdays. (Adults age 55+ pay just $11.50 and receive free Popcorn with the purchase of a drink all day, every Thursday!) Like the Supper Club, the host/hostess sets the theme, timing and any other parameters. When the event is at a members' home, please bring an appetizer to share and a beverage of choice (alcohol, beer, juice, soda, or wine) for yourself. If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Valerie or vcollins3@san.rr.com or if you can host on the first Sunday in April, June, August or October.. The next one will be at 4:30 PM on Sunday, February 14 at the home of Rose Marie and David Dishman; Palisades Drive, Poway. RSVP at or dishman@cox.net by February 8 if you plan to attend. Sunday Supper Club meets several times a year at members' homes, but the group will not meet in January Each dinner party group is limited to eight, with some flexibility such as having some parties of 6, depending upon the number of people that sign up to come on the designated date (Sunday evening of odd months). The host/hostess sets the theme and time and provides the entrée and accompanying wine. The "guests" provide the appetizer with wine or cocktail, salad or cheese course with a wine pairing, and dessert with wine or after dinner drink--as desired. The supper party groups differ from the wine groups in that they are smaller and include a "sit down" dinner. It is expected that each couple (or two singles) take a turn at hosting the event. Our meetings in 2016 will be at 7 PM on the second Tuesday and/or third Wednesday of each month. Couples, including bridge only couples, are welcome to try one of our Couple's groups. Groups of four couples meet in members homes and rotate every four months so everyone can meet and play with each couple. A simple dessert is served. To join or to play as a substitute couple, call Mary Kay Kazemzadeh at Singles for Fun Bridge: The group meets at members homes on the second and fourth Tuesday at 7 PM. We are in need of permanent bridge players and bridge subs. If interested, contact Madeline Zalaha for details at Mixed Golf Holey Niners Golf Group will meet at the Oaks North Golf Course on Sundays. June Greer ( ) is the chairperson for this activity. The group will meet on February 21. The

3 starters are Rosalind and Jerry Gillett. Call them at by February 15 to play. The Old Bold Pilots will meet at 7:30 a.m. on the second Monday of each month at Denny s for a no-host breakfast with camaraderie. We welcome all former or current military and airline pilots only. Contact: Denny Shafer at if interested. Join the Men s Lunch Bunch for luncheon and agenda discussion at the Bernardo Heights Country Club at 11:30 AM on the second Thursday of the month. Whirlaways, a North County-based Square Dance club is offering classes and holding dances twice a month at the Barn in San Marcos, just off Twin Oaks Valley Road North of CA-78.
