3 Welcome We are excited to share this year s fun-filled Christmas Activities Programme. You can choose to laze on the beach with a book and cocktail OR enjoy hikes along the island s rugged east coast, daily activities for the kids, tropical painting parties, outdoor movies, our barefoot beach bonfire, a visit from Santa island style and so much more. As our guest you enjoy activities, pool and beach services at both of our sister resorts Saint Peter s Bay and Port Ferdinand. Please be sure to check the location detail for the various activities in our program. We offer complimentary daily scheduled water taxi transfers between resorts (refer to Water Taxi Transfers section of our programme). Christmas is one of the busiest and most vibrant times to be in Barbados so we highly recommend that you work with our concierge team to help you plan your stay your way in advance of your arrival. Be it on site activities, restaurant reservations, exhilarating adventures or pure relaxation, leave the arrangements to us! At this busy time of year we also recommend letting us secure the comforts and provisions you enjoy on your behalf as grocery stores are very busy and have limited hours. When finalising your travel details with us, please let us know the items you wish to have pre-stocked in your villa. Shopping hours are limited on December 24th and stores are closed on December 25th, 26th and January 1st. We also invite you to celebrate Christmas in your island home with a beautifully predecorated Christmas Tree and a traditional Christmas meal. 19 Kids Indoor Zone Welcoming children ages 4 to 12, The Kids Zone is an indoor play centre full of fun. Trained and certified child care professionals oversee the action. which includes arts and crafts, board games, puzzles, Lego, karaoke, Movie Bean Bag Zone where kids can chill and enjoy a movie. Toddlers require a Nanny or Parent to be present. The Kids Indoor Zone is open from 9 am to 5 pm. 20 Babysitting Services Our Babysitters and Nannies are First Aid or CPR qualified, know how to swim and have had training and/or experience in early childhood education. BABYSITTER/NANNY RATES* US $25 per hour for first child up to midnight US $10 per hour for any additional child up to midnight US $30 per hour per child after midnight US $15 per hour for any additional child after midnight First Aid or CPR qualified ECE trained/experience Know how to swim * There is a 3 hour minimum requirement for each sitting. There are no cash transactions. The charges for the babysitting will be applied to your folio. Any tip or gratuity the guest would like to give the babysitter is at their discretion. Should a guest wish to cancel or amend a babysitting booking, we ask that they give us a two (2) hour notice to avoid a penalty of $60 which will be charged to the guest account.
