Our Advisory Board consists of nine voting members and four Alternates. If you are interested in supporting your Senior Center by serving on the Advisory Board please let us know by stating your intent on the form below. Submit your completed Intent form to a member of the nominating committee per the By-Laws, or at the Senior Center office either in person or by mail no later than April 30, 2019 The annual membership meeting and elections will be held on June 11, 2019 at 11:00am in the Bedford Senior Center dining room. Your dues for 2019 must be paid before you are eligible to run for any Advisory Board position. You must be a 2019 paid member to serve as either a member or as an alternate on the Advisory Board. You also need to be a paid member to vote in the election for the Advisory Board. Membership Dues are $15.00 per year for Michigan residents and $18.00 for out of state residents. 9 APRIL MAY 2019 GREETING CARD MAKING CLASSES APRIL 10, 2019 MAY 8, :00am until 11:30am Cost $6.00 per class (includes supplies) All you need to bring is some adhesive, if you want to use it. Teacher: Roberta Wesolowski Come and make some awesome greeting cards even if you are a beginner. Your friends and family will love getting these cards made especially by you! You will take home three finished cards from each class. Class size is limited to the first 15 people. PLEASE SIGN UP at the office for these classes.** A Sample Board showing the cards you will make will be available at the Senior Center three weeks prior to each class. An Attorney from Legal Aid is scheduled to be at the Bedford Senior Center from 9:30am until 11:30am on the second Tuesday of every month. The Attorney will only meet with those clients who have called their office prior to the second Tuesday of the month and made an appointment. To schedule call There is a $20.00 Consultation Fee for each meeting and/or issue. MEDICARE COUNSELING NOW AVAILABLE AT THE BEDFORD SENIOR CENTER Appointments are available on the Third Wednesday of each month. It is our goal to foster a warm environment where individuals can explore and enjoy activities and services designed to promote health and welfare of the 55+ population while fostering their independence.
