2 Welcome to Gluek s Restaurant & Bar! A downtown tradition since Prohibition! Casual charm and Old World ambiance make Gluek s Restaurant & Bar your favorite destination. Established in 1934, we are the Oldest Restaurant in downtown Minneapolis. Our historic building is known for its elaborate woodwork, brick walls, stained glass windows and German Beer Hall atmosphere. Perfect for any occasion or celebration. Gluek s is conveniently located in the heart of the Warehouse District on the Light Rail line. We are walking distance from Target Center, Target Field, Cowles Center for the Arts, Orpheum Theatre, State Theatre, Pantages Theatre, Nicollet Mall & new Vikings US Bank Stadium! Gluek s is also handicap accessible. Our hand-crafted food menu includes German inspired entrees, assorted bratwurst & sausages, grilled sandwiches, fresh garden salads & homemade desserts. Be sure to have a Gluek Beer, it s the oldest beer label in MN and we currently serve Gluek Lager, Red & IPA on draft! Our 55 foot oak bar located in the main room offers a full selection of spirits, wine and over 20 different craft beers. What we offer: Our private event room is FREE of charge to reserve. Minimums may apply, please inquire. The event room can accommodate up to 60 guests for a sit-down meal or 100+ for mingling. Larger groups can be held in our main room or using the 2 rooms combined and/or our Beer Garden. Occupy GLUEK S! 3 GLUEK S EVENT ROOM FAQ S Are there any fees associated with reserving the room including minimum food/beverage? It is free to reserve the room, minimums may apply, please inquire. The space holds 60 seated & 100+ for social groups. Is there a deposit to reserve the event space? We do not require a deposit. We have a contract that requires a credit card number for our files that needs to be filled out, signed & returned to secure your reservation. Is there a happy hour? We do not offer Happy Hour for large group reservations as the room you are offered is free of charge. Can we bring in our own food? We allow you to bring in a store bought cake or dessert only. There is a fee for this. How much is it for a keg? Is there a private bar? We do not sell kegs to parties but we do offer Man Cans that hold 128 oz (1 gallon). Man Cans can be filled with any of our draft beers. All event are staffed with private servers. Can we decorate? Yes! No confetti please. There will someone under the age of 21 that would like to attend, are they allowed? We allow minors in until our kitchen closes, times vary so please inquire for special events. What kind of music or entertainment will there be? Gluek s uses an ipad for its in house music. Live music typically starts around 9:30 pm weekly. You can check our website for the latest line up.

4 GROUP RESERVATION INFORMATION The Gluek s Restaurant private party room accommodates 60 seated guests. We accommodate 100+ guests for social groups. In our main dining hall we can accommodate group reservations of Group reservations are free of charge to book, minimums apply, please inquire. We are equipped to host rehearsal dinners, weddings, seminars, networking, birthday, retirement, holiday parties or other occasions. Gluek s has an outdoor Beer Garden. This garden style area, located behind the building is available seasonally. We can seat 50+ people comfortably in the Beer Garden for lunch, dinner, happy hour or late night. It is available to be reserved for larger groups and can serve as an overflow area for reservations in our backroom. Thank you for your interest in Gluek s Restaurant. We require a final guests count & event details 72 hours prior to your function. To confirm a reservation simply complete, sign and return our Group Reservation Contract. Once you have submitted your contract, a $100 fee to cancel will apply. In a situation where that has been pre-ordered food, cancelling within the 72 hour period prior to your event, the $100 cancellation fee will apply along with 20% of the cost of food ordered. This will billed to the credit card on file.

Drink Tickets Drink tickets to control the dollar amount & number of drinks offered to your guests. Cash Bar All guests responsible for their own beverages. Draft Beer We offer 4oz, Pint, Litre & Man Cans (128oz), pricing varies depending on size & draft selection. View our website to find current draft lists. Wine We offer select red, white, champagne and sparkling white wines to suit your taste. Lists are available on site as they change seasonally. We require a confirmed guest count & food order 72 hours prior to your function. All pricing is exclusive of tax & gratuity. There is a 18% gratuity charge added to all large group events. Please review our menu selections that have been created with pricing tiers. We can accommodate special dietary needs and children s menus. Our event coordinator is happy to help you create and/or plan your menu for your event. I understand that the final guest count is due 72 hours prior to my function, and that if no final count is given at this time, the last updated guest count will be applied. I understand that pre-ordered food selections are also due 72 hours prior to my function. Gluek s Restaurant reserves the right to relocate my group to a more suitable location should the expected attendance change significantly. Payment is due on the day of the event. A signed contract & credit card # to hold the space confirms and secures your reservation. The restaurant does not assume responsibility for damage or loss of any merchandise or articles left in the restaurant prior to, during or following your reservation.
