When you rent one of our rooms you have the option to buy out the games so that your guests can go to town and play as much as they want. Vintage games are available for a buyout of $15 per game and the modern games are available for buyout of $30 per game. Not to worry, you can let us know how many quarters you would like to have on hand and we will make accommodations to have the quarters ready when you walk in the door. 7 F.A.Q.S WHAT DO I NEED TO RESERVE A SPACE? A signed contract and deposit is needed to reserve a space. If you would like to place a hold on a particular date, your hold will remain until 7 days before the party date, where as a signed contract and deposit will be required or your hold will be released. IF SOMEONE HAS A FIRST HOLD, HOW DO I BOOK THE DATE? A signed contract and deposit will be required. Once a signed contract and deposit are in hand, First holds have a 72 hour first right of refusal to either release the date or sign a contract. Once the 72 hours have passed, the 2nd hold will acquire the date. WHAT IF I PUT A DEPOSIT AND THE 1ST HOLD SECURES THE DATE? Y Your deposit would be returned to you in full. WHAT DEPOSIT DO YOU REQUIRE? Deposits vary depending on the date, time and cost of the event. Typically it is 25%. WHEN DO I PAY MY BALANCE? The balance must be presented in full by check, cash or credit card before the event takes place. Please note that credit card payments will be subject to a 3.5% processing fee. WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? There is no cancellation policy by either party with regard to contracts, we contracted with you and were not able to contract with anyone else. Once the contract has been mutually agreed upon and executed the contract may not be amended for any reason unless mutually agreed upon by both parties. DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE FOOD, DRINKS, GAMES OR ALL? There is no requirement to purchase all items but the food and beverage minimum must be hit in order to secure a space. MAY I DECORATE? Decorations are allowed in the space which you have reserved. If any damage occurs as a result of the decorations, the client will be responsible for the damage. MAY I BRING A CAKE? Cakes are allowed for private events only. WHEN CAN I TELL YOU THE FINAL NUMBER OF GUESTS? Guest count is due 7 days before the event. WHAT ARE TAX RATES & SERVICE CHARGES? Tax rate is 9.75% and the facility service charge is 20%. WHAT IS THE AGE TO ENTER? Barcadia is all ages until 9pm. If an events guests are predominantly under age a sheriff detail will be required. CAN I HOLD A SPACE WITHOUT A DEPOSIT? Yes. You can place holds but holds are subject to the terms listed above. CAN I TAKE MY FOOD HOME? Absolutely. Just ask the manager or server to help you box up your food.
