3 About Us The Game Room is located on the second floor of the beautifully restored Chicago Athletic Association Hotel. Originally the billiards room of the private mens club, our Game Room is now open to all and operates as a full service bar and restaurant. In order to restore the building, Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture and Roman and Williams worked together to preserve elements of the building s late 19th century architectural details while creating a contemporary atmosphere that pays homage to Henry Ives Cobb s original design. Does the CAA logo on the wall behind the bocce court look familiar? The original black-and-red logo was modified to red, white and blue in 1916 as a patriotic response to American involvement in WWI. In 1937, longtime member William Wrigley appropriated the logo for his Chicago Cubs. Semi-Private Events Reception style events for groups of guests. 12 Questions What kind of environment can I expect? The Game Room offers a casual and social atmosphere with cocktail style service. Where are you located? We are located on the 2nd floor of the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel, 12 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL What kind of deposit is needed? Twenty percent (20%) of the estimated event total will be due upon signing a contract. All additional charges incurred during the event will be charged to the credit card on file the following business day. How long can my event last? Our events run for a minimum of 2 hours and maximum of 4 hours. How do games work? Our parties will be pre-signed up for games before arrival. Times and games are not guaranteed ahead of time. Where will my party be? Areas are not pre-assigned and are based on all parties taking place that day. How soon do I need to select my menu? We ask for final menu selections 1 week prior to the event.

13 More Questions When are final guarantees due? Final guarantees are due 72 hours in advance. How is food served? Food is served family style and on a flow throughout the event. We will start with lighter, snack items then move into hearty menu selections. Can I bring my own dessert? We offer bite sized desserts as well as custom cakes created by our Pastry Chef. Any outside desserts must be approved in advance and are subject to a $30 fee. Is there valet? Valet is located at 71 E Madison St. and can be validated for up to 4 hours for $18. 14 Other Spaces Cherry Circle Room is an intimate dining room featuring booth seating accommodating up to 80 guests for a seated dinner. Semi-private dining available for groups 6 40, private events available for groups up to 80 guests. Milk Room is an 8 seat microbar featuring vintage spirits and craft cocktails served in an intimate space in seating blocks of two hours. Private events are available for groups of 8 12 guests. Drawing Room, the hotel s main lobby area, serves coffee, tea, cocktails, wine and beer alongside a daytime and evening menu of light meals and shared snacks. The Drawing Room features interiors from acclaimed design team Roman & Williams.
