Contribution: Papyrus Paper It was a light weight form of paper that helped people record important information and communicate 8. Contribution: Hieroglyphics It was a way to record important information and communicate with one another. (We wouldn t know as much about the ancient Egyptians without this information) 9. Contribution: Astronomy Studying the stars helped them to predict the Nile s flood and develop a 365 day calendar 10.Contribution: Pyramids A place for deceased pharaohs and queens to rest and a place to store riches and jewels. The pharaohs and queens were mummified. Mummification helped people learn about the human body and helped them develop better medicines.
