2 Contact the events team: The Geffrye Museum explores the theme of home. Located in Hoxton, the Geffrye is a heritage building nestled in a trendy central-east London neighbourhood, making it ideal for a broad range of events: drinks receptions, brand engagement, away days, large-scale dining, performances, workshops, cinema and festivals. Our expansive front lawns offer a blank-canvas outdoor venue, and an incredibly rare green space so close to the City. Shaded by impressive London Plane trees and set against the backdrop of Grade I listed almshouses, this is a unique space with which to make a real impression. The museum is currently undergoing an 18 million development project, which limits the hireable indoor spaces in the short term; however, our elegant panelled Georgian room is open throughout, ideal for private screenings, intimate dinners, business meetings and talks. New, dedicated event spaces will open from photography Jayne Lloyd Our experienced events team will provide invaluable assistance in the planning and delivery of your event, with support from our specialist catering and production partners.

6 How to get here The Geffrye Museum of the Home 136 Kingsland Road London E2 8EA Overground Hoxton Station on the East London Line, 2 mins walk Underground & Rail Liverpool Street, then bus 149 or 242 from Bishopsgate. Old Street (exit 2) then bus 243. Alternatively, you can walk from either of these stations in 15 minutes. Bus 67, 149, 242, 243, 394 Cycle There are bike racks by the front lawns, just inside the gates on Kingsland road. There are also several racks to lock your bike on the streets surrounding the Geffrye, including outside Hoxton station on Geffrye street. Parking Very limited meter parking places are available in neighbouring streets. Parking for disabled visitors is available in front of the museum for up to 3 hours between 10am and 4pm Please note that the main museum building will be closed to the public for a redevelopment project until early 2020.
