Two ice cream parlours in the heart of Florence LA CARRAIA started production and sale of ice cream products in From the start they undertook to interpret and evolve the best of the antique flavours of traditional Florentine ice cream. Gelateria LA CARRAIA takes its name from the famous Ponte alla Carraia, the second oldest bridge after the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. In the subsequent years, LA CARRAIA used their own personal experience and the best resources available in Italy to create an unique and exclusive product that distinguishes itself from other Florentine ice creams. Fiume Arno LA CARRAIA concept has been to concentrate on the quality of products, competitive prices and attention to customer service at their locations. The interest shown in LA CARRAIA ice cream and related products has resulted in a continued increase in business volume. In 2008 another shop location Gelateria LA CARRAIA No.2 was opened in Florence.
