6 ACRE EATERY EVENTS TERMS & CONDITIONS BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND DEPOSIT - Exclusive events are confirmed after the receipt of this booking form alongside the deposit pre-payment. CANCELLATION POLICY - We will accept cancellations and full reimbursement of deposit when the event is cancelled at least 14 days prior to the event date. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date will receive 50% of the deposit back. If a date change is requested, it is to the discretion of Management whether there will be any relevant cancellation fees applied. PERIOD OF HIRING - When making a booking, please take into consideration your set-up, pack down and your guests departing the space. acre eatery is an extremely popular destination, so please be considerate of other users and groups. No access outside of hire times is permitted. 10pm noise curfew on the Garden Terrace. We require that the Garden Terrace spaces are vacated by 9.45pm due to our proximity to our neighbours. Your 5 hours hiring time includes decoration & set up time. Please ask guests to arrive accordingly. DELIVERY AND COLLECTION OF GOODS - Due to our limited storage, we cannot accept any items outside of your hire time without prior approval. STORING GOODS DURING THE EVENT AND AFTER THE EVENT FINISHES - We can consider this on a case by case basis, but this depends on the amount of storage required and on other bookings we have on. You may be required to book the Common Room for these purposes. LOADING ZONE - There is a loading area located at the rear of Camperdown Commons and is accessible by proceeding down the access street between Camperdown Park and Camperdown Commons (Mallett Street). This area is in constant use and once you have finished loading or unloading, all vehicles must be removed from the property. Please be sure to notify acre staff of your presence in the loading area to ensure vehicle is not impeding other deliveries. SECURITY - acre eatery takes no responsibility for any items brought into the restaurant by the client. It is the client s responsibility to ensure the security of their equipment and their guest s belongings while on premises. RSA - The responsible service of alcohol and related laws will be enforced during the event. All food and beverage must be consumed within the premises and no beverage is to be taken out onto the farm. Last drink orders are taken 30min prior to the finish time. i.e. If you have an event booked for the 6pm 11pm slot, we will take drink orders until 10.30pm. We expect the space to be vacated at 11pm. DAMAGES - The client must acknowledge the responsibility for conduct of guests and agree to exemplify acre eatery for any liability, loss claim or proceedings in respect of any loss or damage to property caused by any or all guests at the event. Clients are responsible for any damage caused to property within acre eatery and Camperdown commons by their guests or contractors. Repair or replacement of goods will be billed to the client. ENTERTAINMENT - Entertainment is arranged by the client and subject to our approval, and in some instances, Camperdown Commons and Pocket City Farms. Full details of proposed entertainment, including details of noise levels must be supplied at time of booking. We retain the right to turn down or cease entertainment that breeches original agreement. DECORATIONS - Please note that no glitter/confetti, fly-away items and balloons can be used so it doesn t impact the organic on-site farm ran by Pocket City Farms. Items that could be detrimental to table surfaces or leave excessive mess for our staff to clean up is not allowed. Decorations can be secured to walls/poles with a temporary (i.e. Bluetac) solution, but all residue and decorations must be removed at the end of your event. NOISE LEVELS - As acre is located in a residential area, we request hirers be considerate to our neighbours by mindful of all outside noise. All events within the Garden Terrace must be completed by 10pm sharp, with all guests having left the premises by this time. LIVE BAND/MUSICIANS - The use of bass and/or drums is not permitted. Maximum volume allowed in the Dining Room is 95 db with windows closed and maximum volume allowed on the Garden Terrace is 60 db. ACCESS TO POCKET CITY FARMS - Please note the access to the on-site farm, Pocket city Farms is not permitted. Please appreciate and enjoy the beautiful view from the farm, but do not enter the space under any circumstances. PHOTOS - Upon entry to acre eatery, you agree, unless you specify, to being shot in all promotional photography for this event through our social media and marketing channels. SMOKING - Smoking is not permitted on Camperdown commons. CHARGES - All prices are inclusive of goods and services tax. A 10% service charge is added to final bill. PAYMENT - Pre-payment can be made by cash, MasterCard, Amex or Visa. All payments must be done prior to or on the day of the event. Outstanding bills are not accepted.
