2 WYNYARD AGRICULTURAL & PASTORAL SOCIETY INC 131 st ANNUAL SHOW 16 th March, 2019 INDUSTRIAL HALL SCHEDULE All Industrial Hall entries and enquiries to: Industrial Hall Secretary- Mrs Lyn Walsh 324 Coopers Lane Wynyard Telephone Entries in the Industrial Hall Section CLOSE 8th March, 2019 Entry forms may be left at Bank of Us, Wynyard, or The Gift Shop, Wynyard (next to Service Tasmania) NOTE Postage stamps WILL NOT be accepted as payment for Entry Fees. Please provide a self addressed envelope for the return of Part B of the Entry Form and Exhibition Pass, if appropriate. REGULATIONS 1. All cooking to be done at least 24 hours prior to judging. 2. Industrial Hall exhibits cannot be collected before 4p.m. on Show Day. They may then only be collected from Stewards, upon presentation of Part B of the Entry Form. 3. Judges are empowered to withhold prizes in any class when they deem that the exhibits unworthy. 4. All tickets are to be attached to articles etc. before exhibiting. 5. The judge s decisions are final. 6. ALL COOKING EXHIBITS ARE TO BE PRESENTED ON WHITE SOLID PLASTIC PLATES of the appropriate size. 7. Any exhibits carrying any means of identifying exhibits will be disqualified. 2

Method: Melt butter, place all ingredients in large basin. Pour melted butter on top, beat hard for 3 minutes. Bake in moderate oven approximately 25min. 17. Raspberry Slice ( 4) 18. Carrot Cake Recipe 3 eggs, ¾ cup cooking oil, ½ tspn salt, 1 1/3 tspn carb soda, 1 ½ tspn baking powder, 1 1/3 cups plain flour, 1 1/3 tspn cinnamon, 2 cups grated carrots, ½ cup chopped walnuts, 1 tspn vanilla essence, ½ cup sugar. Method Beat eggs and sugar, add oil, then the dry ingredients. Lastly add carrots and walnuts. Bake in 20cm square tin in moderate over for 1 hour. When cold, ice with butter icing. 1 st - $20 donated by J & J SADLER 34. Honey Cake USING LOCAL HONEY Recipe - 250mls clear honey, 125g castor sugar, 60g butter, ¼ pint water, 2 eggs (well beaten) 375g SR Flour, pinch salt, 1 tspn ground ginger, 1 tspn allspice. Method Heat honey, sugar, butter and water until butter melts. Cool slightly, sift dry ingredients, make a well in the centre, pour in eggs and liquid mix. Stir until blended. Pour into greased, paper lined shallow tin. Bake for minutes.
