Arugula: Quality off on Wild Arugula with some Purple leaves from the cold & some brown & yellow from high heat. A limited amount of Organic Rocolla & Red Dragon Arugula available from County Line Asparagus: Using CA Asparagus pretty much on all sizes! Supply is improving every week on standard & large, but jumbo will remain tight this week. Delta Queen label is expected to start this week in out of Stockton. MX Asparagus is still available, but the flavor & quality of CA grown is worth the extra cost. White Asparagus available from Peru year-round by 2 day pre-order mainly shipping Standard size. Avocado: Switching to California 48 count by Wednesday, however Organic and 70 count will still be sourced from MX for 2 more weeks. CA growers projecting only half the volume as last year, so it may be a shorter, pricier season for 2017: Stay tuned. Avocado Pulp 4x4lb is available from MX year round. Beans: Blue Lake Beans MX grown until Coachella/Imperial Valley grown return in early spring. Organic Blue Lake Beans in stock from Vidafresh. Beets: Some conventional Faurot Ranch, Underwood & Organic County Line Baby Beets are in, but supply remains limited. Organic sack Gold & Red Beet supplies are steady. Berries: Blackberries Should be steady from MX for the next 2 weeks. Blueberries Switched to Chile this week: MX quality is poor. Raspberries Steady supply from Ventura County & MX.
