1 About our Ukraine wine Zakarpattia is a wonderful, picturesque region, where extinct volcanoes and medieval castles guard the eastern corner of the Hungarian plains. The local climate is perfect for vineyards, even on the southern slopes, because of the refreshing cool winds of the Carpathians and healing mineral waters. This area is a real paradise for white wines which have been grown here for ages. Our best winemakers follow modern innovative European trends, but at the same time they do their best to preserve all the centuries-old traditions and to benefit from our unique location. In general, the current situation in Transcarpathia is similar to the history of winemaking in California small producers and enthusiasts came together to experiment and support each other. All of us are passionate about the idea of Сarpathian wine.
