4 Program Information WHAT YOU WILL LEARN This AMTA Technology Transfer Workshop will focus on Membrane Applications For All Your Thirsty Needs. Attendees will learn about UF/MF Basics - Use as Pretreatment, NF/RO/EDR Basics, MBR Technology, Regulatory Expierences with Small UF Water Treatment Plants, Overview of Desalination Planning and Permitting in California, and V-Sep Vibratory Membranes. The workshop will highlight the Regional San Francisco Bay Area Desalting Project and feature a panel from the four agencies involved. In addition, this workshop will highlight the City of Healdsburg MF and MBR Plants with an overview of both facilities followed by facility tours. The workshop will also feature several case histories by the American Canyon MBR Plant, Alameda County RO Plant, Moss Landing s Coastal Water Project, Sand City s Desalination Plant, City of Santa Cruz s Seawater Desalination Pilot Program, Deuel Vocational Institute - Zero Liquid Discharge RO Plant, Marin Municipal Water District s RO Project, and the Santa Clara Valley Water Agency s BRO Project.
