7 Canape Menu Below are the platter options. The platters range in price depending on the selection and they either have 20 pieces or 40 pieces depending on the selection. We would normally recommend allowing 4 pieces per person. For example if there are 40 people attending the function you would need approximately 160 pieces or 4 platters of 40 pieces. The options include, but are not limited to: 40 Piece Platters Savoury platter - this contains mince savouries, sausage rolls and potato top savouries. $50 Cocktail sandwiches $50 Beignets with aioli $60 Cocktail Savouries - these a bite sized savouries that come in a variety of flavours $65 Akaroa Smoked Salmon roulade with cream cheese and capers $65 Grilled Lamb and Caramelised Onion crostini $70 20 Pieces per platter: Petite filled croissants with smoked ham and Swiss cheese $50 Teryaki and avocado sushi $60 Chicken Satay skewers $60 Lamb Ribs $56 Beef sliders $80 Pizza's For functions these are priced at $20 and there are 16 slices in each, choices include: Capricciosa - Pepperoni, salami, prociutto and Kalamata olives Margherita - Tomatoes, fresh basil, mozerella, olive oil and fresh parmesan with rocket (V) Chicken - Spicy chicken, fig relish, brie and bacon Mushroom - Mushroom duxelle, field mushrooms, swiss browns, sautéed onions and spinach Tropical - Ham off the bone, fresh cut pineapple, tomato base and mozerella cheese Canterbury Marinated Lamb - Marinated lamb, balsamic tomatoes, confit garlic, rosemary and tzatziki sauce, olive oil and fresh parmesan with rocket. 13 Quiz Information Sheet Cost: The cost of the Quiz is $200 which will be charged to your account on the night and a room hire of $100 which includes room set up and bar staff and cleaning of the room. Included in the price above is: projector hire microphone for your MC laptop for the quiz table cloths bar staff white board for scoring If you wish to bring your own quiz, the cost would be the room hire of $150 and the projector hire of $40. Food and beverage: You can order food for the evening to come out at set times on the night you can have a bar tab on the night or a cash bar. Confirming details: Protocol needs all food times, beverage requirements, start times and final numbers 7 days prior to your event. Hosts: Protocol does not have staff to host your event but are more than welcome to recommend someone at your cost. Prizes: You are more than welcome to have prizes on the night Room set up: You are welcome to come in before the quiz and add decorations to the room Other requirements: All other function requirements apply Fundraisers: Most people sell the tickets for about $10 per person some people have sold the tickets for a bit more and included a light supper to be handed out, which can be paid for on the night Age: All guests must be over the age of 18 years of age or with their legal guardian.

14 PROTOCOL FUNCTION VENUE TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Confirming your function: We do not require a deposit, however we do require a credit card number, this secures your function, If you cancel your function within 7 days of your function date, there will be a $300 cancellation fee charged to your account, by signing the terms and conditions you are ensuring that your function will be proceeding. We reserve the right to apply a $400 Room Hire when no catering or beverages is required, for all functions. ALL MENU ITEMS ARE TO BE CONFIRMED WHEN SECURING YOUR FUNCTION. 2. Public Holidays / Surcharges - A surcharge may apply to all functions or events held on public holidays. 3. Rights and responsible service of alcohol Protocol is a fully licenced venue. Therefor the service of alcohol is at the Discretion of our staff and the duty manager. We are required to comply with the obligations under the liquor licencing act 1989 and we reserve our right pursuant to that Act in relation to the sale and supply of liquor. We also reserve the right to remove from the premise any person behaving in an irresponsible manner. Alcohol will not be served to intoxicated patrons. 4. Payment - Final payment must be made at the conclusion of your function. (ON THE DAY UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE) Please note Protocol does not accept cheques. No loyalty cards can be used in a function. If payment is has not been made at the conclusion of your function, a 10% surcharge will be applied. 5. Final Arrangements - Final arrangements must be confirmed one week prior to your function. Changes made within this time frame will incur full charges. This includes times required for accessing the function room - room layout - equipment required in room - music/dj food and beverage options. This will ensure that your function will run smoothly and be enjoyable for all. No food or beverage is permitted to be brought onto the premises in accordance with health & liquor licenses. Unless by prior agreement that has been made with us. 6. Decoration- If you wish to decorate the function rooms and tables, permission must be granted prior to function (No table glitter, confetti) additional cleaning charge may be required. 7. Loss or Damage to Property - Customers are responsible for any and all damage caused during the function caused by any guests, or any other persons attending. Protocol does not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to property or equipment left on the premises before, during or after the function. 8. Responsibility of customer - You are expected to conduct the function in a legal and responsible manner. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests and invitees. You are responsible for, and will be charged for all damages that occur to Protocol, its property and its staff 9. Closing Time / Music - Our liquor license allows us to be open until 12 midnight and as such every guest must be off the premises by 12:30 and no exceptions! All music must be turned down to an acceptable level determined by the duty manager at 11:00 pm due to the close proximity of our residential neighbours.
