1 Events Package Chatswood RSL is the perfect venue for any function from a board meeting, to cocktail party or a formal sit down dinner. At Chatswood RSL we want your function to go as smoothly and stress-free as possible. Our friendly and professional staff are here to help you. Our emphasis on excellence in customer service will ensure your function is a success. Anything that you may require for your function please let us know and we would be more than happy to help you. This package outlines some room options and the costs involved as well as food and beverage options. If there is anything that you would like that is not covered in this package please speak to our functions department as they may be able to accommodate your needs. 3 Function Menus The various menu options are outlined in the following pages. There are some menus that do require a minimum number of attendees. If you do have a smaller function please contact our functions department and they may be able to come up with an alternative to suit your needs. There are limited vegetarian options within each menu. If you have any other dietary requirements or require extra vegetarian options please contact the functions department. For any major food allergies or intolerances please ensure you let us know when booking your function. 8 Function Terms and Conditions These general business conditions are valid for using function and meeting facilities of this club for the purpose of carrying out such activities as well as all other related activities and services. Please read these Terms then fill in the form below and return to the Club Confirmation Confirmation of your booking must be made in writing together with the deposit (if requested) within 7 days. Guaranteed Numbers A guaranteed minimum number of guests attending a function is required 3 working days prior to the event. The club will charge for meals prepared in accordance with this number. Meals that are served above this number will also be debited to the function holder. Room Hire Room Hire is subject to the period required, number of guests in attendance and overall catering requirements. Our functions staff will discuss room hire charges along with your specific requirements. Insurance The club will not accept responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise left in the club prior, during or after functions. Function holders should arrange their own insurance. Damage to Club Property Function holders are financially responsible for any damages sustained to the club during functions and exhibitions. Use of walls for display materials is not permitted unless prior arrangements are made and subject to zero damage being sustained. Cancellation by the Club If the club has reason to believe that a particular function or meeting will affect the smooth operation of the club, its security, or reputation, the club reserves the right to cancel that function or meeting. Cancellation by the Client If the booking is cancelled within 30 days of the function the full deposit will be forfeited. If less than 30 days notice is given an additional cancellation fee may be incurred. All cancellations must be made in writing. Audio Visual and Other Equipment All audio visual and other equipment will be charged at current prices. Car Parking Parking is generally available to club members only. Limited parking will be provided to function organisers. Final Payment The final account is due and payable at the completion of the function unless an account has been authorised prior to the event. Payment is to be made by credit card, cash or bank cheque only. Maximum 14 day accounts. Food and Beverage The club has an inspiring range of appealing meals to suit all occasions. The clubs policy does not allow for food or beverages to be brought onto the premises for consumption. Menus are subject to change according to seasonal product availability. Price Variation Every endeavour is made to maintain published prices, however these may be subject to fluctuations in market prices. Security and Responsible Service of Alcohol For the protection of club patrons, a security guard may be required at $50 per hour for the duration of the function subject to the advice of club management. In accordance with our Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy, Chatswood RSL club staff will refuse liquor service if they feel that any person on the premises is approaching intoxication. Dress Attendees must confirm to the club s dress code of being neat, clean and tidy. The club reserves the right to refuse entry to any patron without giving a reason.
