2 THE COURT ROOM Our function room was once the court room for the village of Welwyn, with jailcells below. Nowadays it s a fully refurbished room perfect for celebrations & events. The space has its own private entrance, toilet facilities and bar. The room sits opposite the main hotel and leads to bedrooms via a staircase. The room layout can be adapted to suit a sit down meal, buffet, party space or gathering. The dual staircase is ideal for speeches to the room or to create a dramatic entrance.
