Converted from a three hundred year old barn which rightfully gives us our name. The Red Barn in the perfect spot for weddings in any one of our wonderful spaces which can be sectioned off just for you and we promise you ll fall a little bit in love with the place as soon as you clap eyes on it. Our friendly dedicated events team are always on hand to help you and whatever you need to make it the best damned wedding ever, they can make it happen. The Red Barn is licenced to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships and our superb barn provides a wonderful atmosphere helping to create a really meaningful experience. 4 THE PANTRY Hire Fee Minimum spend Smaller weddings are just as special to us at The Red Barn and our rather perfect private pantry leads out to our beautiful lush garden and is a wonderful setting for a more intimate wedding with your nearest and dearest, with a very old aga for that rustic feel we can seat 30 of your specially plucked guests or why not have a small party later on and invite 20 odd more to celebrate with you.

The barn is what gives us our change with season and days name and ensure your wedding is a day to remember for everyone. We can seat 140 people in a wide variety of layouts, if a grand feast is required or up to 200 standing for something a little less formal, total flexibility is a big part of what we do. There s plenty of space for a dance floor, bands and other entertainment while still have secluded little areas for guests to relax in before re-joining the fun and it can be as relaxed or as formal as you like.

26 S WEDDING TIMELINE Planning your wedding is a new and potentially daunting task, but we are here to guide you throughout the whole planning process to help in any way that we can, below is a handy guide to help you with the planning process. 12 Months to go Tick Consider Dates, bear in mind peak dates (Saturday in spring/summer) We can check availability If you are having your ceremony off site, book the registrar/ church/venue for your ceremonyv If you decide to have your ceremony here with us, book the registrar through Leatherhead Registry Office and let us know what time you have booked Buy a wedding organiser file- a nice keepsake and a great place to put your ideas and notes Plan your budget and put together a guest list Request to hold a date, and then when you wish to confirm we will send a contract for you to sign along with a deposit payment. The date and function space is then booked for your special day Send out save the date invitations to your guests Consider wedding insurance Start consulting suppliers photographer, Videographer, wedding cars, cake, florist if not using our in house florist and entertainment

30 THE BIG DAY Try to eat something prior to the ceremony albeit if nerves are running high Relax- use your bridesmaids, ushers, best man to do the liaising with people Take time to take everything in and have fun- the day will go very fast Attempt to speak to all your guests- but make time for each other Don t worry if timings are running over- we can always make adjustments Enjoy yourselves and let us look after your guests AFTER YOUR WEDDING DAY Collect items left from The Red Barn the following day before 12pm Feedback on the day to our function team Come back and have a meal with us on your anniversary and we will treat you to a bottle of prosecco

32 THE BORING STUFF SECURE YOUR BOOKING - We are delighted to provisionally hold a booking date for your Event up to a maximum of 14 days. Should we receive another enquiry during the time please be aware that we reserve the right to ask you for immediate conformation in writing, or we may release the date due to popular demand. CONFORMATION, DEPOSIT & PRE-PAYMENT - Your booking is provisional until we receive a signed booking form and a deposit payment of the agreed venue hire. This payment will secure your celebration date with us. - Once issued the booking agreement and deposit must be returned within 10 days otherwise the date may be released - A second payment 6 months prior to your event is due from the agreed minimum spend required - Final payment based on your minimum spend requirements and confirmed contracted numbers of guests is due 14 days from your event date - Any other bills such as an extra bar tabs set up must be paid in full on the day of the event CANCELLATION POLICY - Please note that your deposit is non-refundable - In the unlikely event of cancellation please take into account there is a 100% cancellation charge 6 months before your booking date. AMENDMENTS - We reserve the right to amend your quotation should your guest s numbers and/or catering requirements alter between paying your deposit and balance. - Amendments to guest numbers made after payment of balance must be confirmed to the venue in writing 7 days prior to your event. - No charge will be made for any reduction in guest numbers as long as the venue receives notification 7 days prior to your event. EQUIPMENT & EXTRA FURNITURE - If you require us to hire in any special catering equipment or extra furniture, we will let you know the cost implications to you well in advance. NOISE LEVELS - Please do be sensitive to our neighbours and keep the noise to a minimum when going outside, please me aware we are required to monitor music levels. DAMAGE - If there is any obvious damage done to our lovely Venue during your event we will show you this after your event and you will be asked to pay to make the damage good. SERVICE CHARGE - We charge a reasonable 12.5% service charge to your final food and drinks bill. We think that by the end of your event you ll agree our staff deserve it. THE EXTRA MILE - We re here to ensure that you and your guests have a simply fantastic time with us.
