From intimate to extravagant, from casual to fantastical we can design the perfect event for you! Our experienced functions team can create an individual and memorable event, large or small, and love nothing more than to throw you a party. Our venue is also easily accessible for all of your guests, with a multitude of parking and public transport options nearby. 2 PRIVATE FUNCTION ROOMS The Atrium - Jungle Room The showpiece of The Brunswick Mess Hall! Bright and spacious, the larger of the atriums has a connecting alleyway for extra room. Perfect for any function when you are looking for an elegant and fun space. Stand Up Min 20 & Max 40* (*with adjoining alleyway) : Sit down N/A The Atrium - Panda Room Like having a party in your own private greenhouse. The perfect room for hen s parties and birthday celebrations! Stand Up Min 20 & Max 30 : Sit down Min 16 & Max 22 The Cheetah Room Our cosy velvet lined private dining room. Just that little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Hall, perfect if you are after a special event in luxurious surroundings. The room can be curtained off to be completely private, or opened up to have access to the outside area. Stand Up Min 20 & Max 40 : Sit Down Min 12 & Max 26 (two tables) The Main Hall When you want to be right in the middle of the action and enjoy a sit-down group dinner Brunswick Mess style! Situated down one length of the Main Hall we can seat up to 40 people on one table for the ultimate Messy feast, or you can have a large group dinner on our comfy couches. 3 PRIVATE FUNCTION ROOMS LITTLE MESS Our cheeky little sister directly next door. Featuring a cosy front bar, a large plant-filled beer garden and an exclusive, private function space upstairs. Young, fun and vibrant, it is the perfect venue for when you are looking for a grand time on an intimate scale. Little Mess Exclusive - Stand Up Max 150 : Sit down N/A The Beer Garden Big, bright and breezy! The Little Mess Beer Garden is a gorgeous space, lined with astro turf grass, leafy green plants and twinkling fairy lights. It s completely covered, with heaters to keep you toasty warm in winter, and a cooling system for those warm summer nights. Stand Up Max 80 : Sit down N/A Little Mess Upstairs A completely private function space with its own private bathrooms and plenty of comfy vintage lounges to relax on. There s even room for a mini dance floor where you can play your own music (all audio facilities are included). Stand Up Min 30 & Max 60 : Sit down N/A

4 WEDDINGS The Brunswick Mess Hall is a truly beautiful and unique venue. Our experienced and dedicated functions team takes pride in designing the most outstanding event possible for your special day. Our delicious South East Asian inspired menu is as flexible as it is tasty and with over 50 craft beers, a wine list to please and specialty cocktails as well as punchbowls on our beverage list, you are sure to have a party to remember! 5 BOOKING A SPACE CANAPÉ EVENTS For a cocktail event in one of our stunning private function rooms, the minimum spend required to book a space is $20.00 per person, to be spent on pre-ordered canapé food. BANQUET EVENTS For a sit down banquet booking, we ask that groups of 12 or more choose one of our delicious Banquet set menus. For groups of 40 or more, we offer our Feasting menu! There is no minimum spend for beverages, but we have a great range of beverage package options and bar tab inclusions which your guests will love! EXCLUSIVE HIRE To book exclusive use of The Brunswick Mess Hall or Little Mess we ask that you reach a minimum spend, which varies depending on the day, time and month of year you wish to hold your event. Exclusive hire is generally applicable for groups larger than 80 guests. Please contact our functions manager to discuss the many options available. Tentative bookings are held for 48 hours. 10 CASUAL DRINKS AND LATE NIGHT FUN If you are looking for casual drinks and food, our bar menu is available all the time. Give us a call and we will do our best to have a space reserved for you, where possible, in either The Brunswick Mess Hall or Little Mess. 11 BOOKING CONDITIONS FOR GROUP BOOKINGS All food and beverage selections must be finalized no later than 5 days prior to the booking. All dietary requirements can be catered for upon request and with a minimum of 48 hours notice. Food service will start 30 minutes after the time of the booking for banquets and one hour for finger food unless otherwise arranged. All menus are a guide only and are subject to change depending on availability and current supplier pricing. Final confirmation of attendance - Notification of the minimum number of guests attending is required no less than 48 hours prior to the reservation commencement time. This confirmed number will form the basis for the final charge of the event. Should the number of guests actually attending the event fall below this guaranteed minimum, charges will still be based on this agreed upon minimum number of guests attending. Dietary requirements while our kitchen take pride in accommodating all dietary requirements to the best of their ability when given notice we do use the following in the kitchen nuts, soy, gluten, dairy, fructose, meat, seafood, shellfish. BYO policy - No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into The Brunswick Mess Hall or Little Mess for the consumption of guests, with the exception of Celebration Cakes. A cakeage fee of 10.0 will be charged for BYO celebration cakes. We do not cut the cake but will provide you with a knife and napkins OR a cakeage fee of 2.0 per person will be charged per head for cutting, plating and serving, or 5.0 with ice cream. Decorations,set up and pack down - Access to the venue for set up and decoration is available two hours before the start time of the event. Decorations are more than welcome, as long as the function manager has been notified. Confetti, glitter, rose petals or party poppers are not permitted unless approved by the function manager. BMH staff are not responsible for the set up of decorations. Deliveries and outside vendors - All outside companies are required to make contact with the Brunswick Mess Hall or Little Mess staff 7 working days prior to the event. Access to the venue for drop off and set up is available two hours before the start time of the event. The client should ensure event staff are advised of all goods/ packages to be delivered and that they are adequately marked with the contact name, date of the event and contact number. All equipment must be removed at the conclusion of the event unless previously arranged with the function manager. Damages and cleaning - Organisers are financially responsible for any damage to the building, furniture or property during and immediately following the function, including any costs for repair or replacement at current market price. The organisers of the function are responsible for damage caused by their guests, outside contractors or agents prior to, during and after the event. A cleaning fee of is incurred if extra cleaning is required at the conclusion of the event. Responsible service of alcohol all staff of The Brunswick Mess Hall and Little Mess have current RSA certification and practice the responsible service of alcohol. For all beverage packages there is a one drink per guest limit over the bar. Intoxicated guests will not be served, and may be asked to leave the venue. Cancellation policy - While we do not process deposits for group reservations, a valid credit card number is required to secure the booking. In the case of the reservation being cancelled with less than 7days notice a cancellation fee of $25 per head will be charged to this credit card. In the instance of the booking being cancelled on the day of the reservation, management reserves the right to charge the full minimum spend requirement for the group to this credit card. In the case of the client requiring the date of the booking to be changed, The Brunswick Mess Hall will attempt to roll over the booking date, subject to availability. If it is not possible to locate another date suitable to both the client and The Brunswick Mess Hall, this may be treated as a cancellation and a fee will be charged.
