9 Prost! POLICIES & PROCEDURES Staffing and Event Planning Our Event Director will assist you through your planning process. Your signed contract, seating arrangements and music policy (when applicable) must be returned to the event department no later than 1 week prior to your event. Prices Stated prices are subject to change and are only valid for 60 days. Food and Beverage Service All federal, state and municipal laws with regard to food and beverage purchase and consumption will be strictly adhered to. Brauhaus Schmitz will not dispense alcoholic beverages to anyone under the legal drinking age or to any parties considered under the influence of alcohol. Final Guarantee The final count for your expected number of guests must be specified 48 hours prior to your event. If we do not receive a guarantee within this period, the number of guests stated on the event contract will be considered a guarantee and charges will be assessed accordingly. Your final bill will be charged based on your actual attendance or guaranteed guest count, whichever is greater. Brauhaus Schmitz prepares F&B for an estimated 5% over your guaranteed guest count. Cancellations All contracted events & event rooms are removed from our reservation system and are considered rented. Therefore, it is difficult and costly to remarket when a program is cancelled. Functions canceled with less than 48 hours notice of the scheduled event date will be charged 20% of the grand total. Deposits & Payment To guarantee your event at Brauhaus Schmitz a credit card number is required and added to the event contract. This credit card is only charged in the case of a cancellation within the above stated 48 hours policy. Grand total payments are due in full at the conclusion of your event. 9
