3 Playworld Huddersfield is the perfect venue to host a variety of events. By day our roller-skating rink holds up to 120 fastpaced skaters but by night it can be transformed in to an elegant, stunning & atmospheric centrepiece for your event. Our fully equipped venue is the perfect place to hold your event; catering for both children & adults. Our facilities include a live kitchen supplying your function with freshly made dishes on-site using the highest quality of local produce. Our fully licensed bar includes a wide variety of spirits, bottled lagers & soft drinks. For children only, our 4 storey soft play gym will provide hours of fun or the younger ones & add extra entertainment for your event. We have ample seating where we can accommodate up to 350 guests. Our centrepiece which can accommodate a dance-floor as well as a banqueting seating and is fully equipped with state of the art lighting & sound equipment.

Can we bring our own wine or Champagne? Yes. There will be a fixed 300 corkage fee for wine & spirits. When does my event start & finish? The venue hire duration is 6 hours, i.e. if your event ran from 6.00pm - 12mindnight the bar will call last orders at 11.30pm & the venue will close at 12:00 midnight. Playworld allows 3 hours prior to the event for setting up. Can we provide our own entertainment? Yes, our event package does not include the hire of our DJ so you are welcome to bring your own DJ if you prefer at no additional charge. We will however need contact details for your suppliers along with a valid Pubic Liability Certificate & PAT testing of their equipment. Do you require a deposit? Yes, we require a non refundable deposit. We would then require a second payment of 1, months prior to the event taking place. Your final payment must then be paid no later than 21 days prior to your event. We can hold a provisional booking for 7 days, after this a deposit must be paid to secure your booking & to confirm your date. All deposits are non refundable & we will arrange a meeting 6 weeks prior to your event to confirm final numbers & any other details; from this we will then provide your invoice & anything outstanding should be settled no later than 21 days prior to the event.
