2 Page 2 Kloof Country Club has two beautiful indoor venues for to suit any occasion This recently renovated main hall is spectacular for large groups. Inter-leading doors run across the one wall into our indoor Veranda Restaurant Venue and thereafter out onto the outdoor Veranda Balcony. These additional venues are included when booking the Mowat Room and are perfect for overflow tables, buffet station or welcoming drinks. This air-conditioned room is capable of seating 200 guests without a dance floor or 170 guests with a dance floor. The Holdsworth Room boasts unique character and is perfect for parties and celebrations. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the 18 Hole from the room s private balcony, or a cold beverage at the room s own private bar. This air-conditioned room is capable of hosting 90 guests without a dance floor or 170 guests with a dance floor. Venue hire is inclusive of round tables, cutlery, crockery, glasses, standard white table linen and napkins. 3 Page 3 Kloof Country Club has a team of skilled in-house chefs who are dedicated to providing you and your guests with delicious catering based on your requirements. Specialised dietary requirements can be arranged however will be quoted separately on request. Should you be working with a budget or have something unique in mind, do not hesitate to contact our Functions Coordinator who will liaise with our Head Chef to create a unique menu especially designed for you. For all set or plated menus no more than two items may be selected per course. Your entire guest compliment must be catered for and all prices below are based on a per person cost. Special requests and changes to the menu may incur additional charges. 6 Page 6 Kloof Country Club is a fully licensed establishment with a wide range of wines in our cellar. We do not allow guests to bring in their own beverages under any circumstances (with respect of wines). At Kloof Country Club you are able to arrange a cash bar, limited bar or a full bar. Details of these are listed below: Cash Bar Guests purchase their own beverages from the bar or waitron staff and pay for items directly. Limited Bar You specify and pre-pay the limit that will be served, after which the facility will convert to a cash bar. You may also specify which items may be ordered and any exclusions. Full Bar A full bar has no restrictions but is also served up to a pre-determined and pre-paid limit. Once the limit is reached, serving will continue on a cash basis. Corkage for particular wines and sparkling wines may be arranged and are priced on R30 per bottle. Our dedicated and trained team of waitron and bar staff are able to assist you on your special occasion along with our professional and considerate Functions Coordinator. Staff are charged hourly at the rate of R45 per waitron and R55 per barmen. One waitron is required per group of 10 guests for a minimum of nine hours. A separate hourly rate will be charged per hour exceeding midnight, And will be confirmed in advance by the Function Coordinator in the event is should apply. Professional and high standard of décor are available at Kloof Country Club. You may request a quote for draping of the room, gift table, cake table inclusive or exclusive of fairy lights. Kloof Country Club also offers a select choice of linen options, quoted separately.
7 Page 7 Kloof Country Club offers these items/services, should you request, at an additional cost: Alcohol Free or Alcoholic Cocktail R 30 per glass Chair Covers R30 per chair Golf Carts R each Driver for Golf Cart R50.00 each Draping of Cake Table with Fairy Lights R 250 Draping of Gift Table with Fairy Lights R250 Draping of Top Table with Fairy Lights R550 Draping of whole Venue Price available on request Table Linen at R70 per Table Cloth A deposit of R5000 is required, together with a signed contract in order to confirm your booking, The R5000 deposit is not a part of the amount invoiced for venue hire, catering and additional services. The deposit will be refunded to you within 7-14 working days after the commencement of your wedding; once the final account has been reconciled. Please note that a mandatory R300 administration fee will be deducted from your deposit. A further 10% service charge will also be charged to the final food and beverage bill. It should also be noticed that improper behaviour, drinking in the car park, excessive noise on arrival or departure and excessive delay by yourself or your guests will result in your deposit being wholly or partly forfeited at the General Managers reasonable discretion. Cancellation of your booking between 31 to 60 days of your wedding will incur a 75% cancellation fee based on your Main Account. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for any bookings cancelled 30 days or less leading up to your wedding.
