5 Terms & Conditions We / The Company (Carrigan s Blantyre) work in conjunction with reputable third party businesses to service your event & will do all we can to meet your requirements. The company cannot be held responsible for any problems arising out with our control on the day of your event. Provisional bookings will be held for 14 days with no obligation. If no deposit has been paid within this time period we will automatically cancel the provisional booking and release the date. A deposit of 100 is required to confirm your booking. On payment of the deposit it is understood that you have read and fully agree to our terms and conditions. This deposit is non returnable if event is cancelled within 60 days of your event.. To book our function suite, we require that the minimum amount of people expected for the event to be no less than 80 Adults on Fridays & Saturdays. 80 Adults for any Sunday in the month of May & 50 Adults for any other Sundays. (If numbers are lower than this you may loose your deposit.) We recommend that you cater for at least 90 percent of your total numbers when having our buffet. Buffets / Meals must be paid in full, 14 days prior to your event. Numbers are confirmed with this payment. We will be unable to refund money should numbers decline or event is cancelled. The evening buffet will be served at approx 9:30pm. Party poppers, confetti, streamers, sellotape or similar are not allowed on the premises. Do not stick any banners or posters to the walls (you may use the doors, windows & wooden frames for this with blue tack as an adhesive). This may affect the return of your deposit. We have a built in professional audio & visual system that our resident DJ operates. When booking our resident DJ we would encourage you to bring along a USB stick or disc with your celebration photos. This will enable you & your guests to see them as a slideshow on our 3 metre HD projector screen. Payment for our DJ is at the same time you are paying for your Buffet / Meal. If you prefer your own DJ / Band we will unfortunately be unable to let them use our built in sound system. This may limit the space of the room to accommodate your Entertainments equipment. The Company reserve the right to withhold your deposit in the event off any problems arising at your function due to unacceptable behaviour from any of your guests (You are responsible for your guests. We have the right to ask you directly to eject any guests from the premises if this unfortunately happens) Also any damage to the property will result in us withholding your deposit and additional charges may apply.
