3 Welcome to Harrogate Food Angels We are delighted you have chosen to look at our brochure. For the last 40 years local care provider Harrogate Neighbours has strived to provide a high quality service caring for the older people of Harrogate and one of its specialities is to provide services that are essential and cost effective within our non-profit organisation. It is with this in mind that we launched Harrogate Food Angels who will provide you with a hot meals on wheels home delivery service so that you can stay warm and dry while we bring your favourite meal to your front door. Our meals are the only freshly made hot meals on wheels service in the Harrogate area. Using our team of Chefs who are already preparing delicious fresh meals daily for residents at our Greenfield Court site, we have constructed a range of nutritious and filling meals for home delivery. All our meals are made fresh daily using ingredients sourced from the highest quality local suppliers enabling us to provide you with nutritious and delicious meals at all times. Hot food delivered with a warm smile. Your meal will be delivered by our team from our Greenfield Court site. The team will ensure your meal is delivered to you fresh and hot. We will also take the time to check that you are fit and well and will be able to assist you with any other service whether it is help ordering your next meal, or finding out about our home help services. All you have to do is ask.

We create menus on a four week rolling plan, updating our range of meals each season. This allows you to gain a good variety in your meals and ensure you have the choices of hearty warming foods and lighter meals when you want them. Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am - 1.30pm for telephone orders. 2. In person - just hand in your order form for the next week to one of our staff when they deliver your meal. 3.

5 HOW HARROGATE FOOD ANGELS WORKS When we deliver your first order we will also provide you with an order form for the following month. We want to provide you with a service that is simple and easy to use so all you have do is: Homemade Apple Pie and Custard 1. Phone us using the number on the back of this brochure. Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am pm for telephone orders. 2. In person - just hand in your order form for the next week to one of our staff when they deliver your meal. 3. Post your order form to us to arrive by 12 noon on the Wednesday; our address is on the back of the brochure. 4. If you prefer to use we can you an order form and you can it back to: foodangels@hnha.co.uk Steamed Jam Roly Poly and Creme Anglais Please let us have your order no later than 12 noon on a Wednesday for the following weeks order. We are of course happy to deal with your orders more frequently if your needs change just telephone us to discuss this. Your meal will be delivered daily between 11.30am and 1.30pm. HOW TO PAY 1. The price for a meal includes delivery to anywhere within a 3 mile radius of Greenfield Court. If you are outside that area there will be an additional charge of 45p per mile in each direction. 2. We will invoice you from our Finance Office on a calendar month basis. Homemade Vanilla Cheesecake with Raspberry Coulis 3. If you ever need to cancel an order for a meal, we ask that you give us 24 hours notice or the meal will still be charged for.

All staff involved in the provision of this service recognise that it is paramount that you enjoy every meal that is delivered to your door and benefit from its nutritional value. Our food is cooked freshly everyday by our own team on our own premises at Greenfield Court where our kitchens have been awarded 5 stars by Environmental Health. Our staff have been trained to an exceptional standard in Food Hygiene and Nutrition and are well experienced through their service to our tenants who live at Greenfield Court Extra Care Housing Scheme. Our Awards We have been honoured with awards from the NACC, Great British Care Awards and CSE as well as receiving written support from the Duchess of Cornwall and TV chefs the Hairy Bikers. Her Royal Highness firmly believes in the importance of regular nutritious meals and was delighted to learn about the new service you are launching at Greenfield Court.
