1 CONFERENCE OFFICE Menus October July 2016 Event Catering at UEA We offer a wide variety of food packages for your conference or residential booking, from business lunches to barbeques and self-service meals to fine dining. Our menus are competitively prices and locally and responsibly sourced as much as possible to reduce waste and our carbon footprint. 10 Zest meal vouchers We can provide vouchers for your group to eat in or have a take away meal from our self - service restaurant Zest. If you wish to have the restaurant outside standard opening hours, a minimum of 40 delegates is required or out of hour charges will apply. 14 Fine dining Formal event dining can be organised for all occasions including conferences, launches, guest speaker events and fellowship dinners. These are held in our Vista Restaurant and can accommodate up to 80 people seated. Guests receive full waiter service and are served a three course meal from our seasonal menus, including table water, coffee and mints. Please ask for our current seasonal menus and select one starter, one main course (including a vegetarian option) and one dessert. Three courses Example seasonal menu: Starter Pan seared king scallops with pea puree, pickled beetroot and celeriac mash, served with a light anchovy dressing Main course Chargrilled canon of lamb, marinated in rosemary, honey and garlic, served with fresh beetroot salad, creamed potatoes, roasted baby turnips, baby carrots, cauliflower mornay, red wine and mint jus Dessert Sicilian lemon posset with sweet winter berry compote and shortbread biscuit

16 Need to know Delivery Information Tea, coffee, soft drinks and buffets can be delivered to your meeting venue and set up. You will be provided with china mugs and plates. Please ensure all crockery is returned to your food delivery point at the end of each refreshment break. Lost items may be charged for. A member of staff can be available to serve food and drink at a cost of 30 per hour or 50 for two members of staff, per hour. Food is delivered and set up ready for the start time of the refreshment break as per your contract booking. Please ensure these are correct as time changes can only be made with 48 hours notice. Food signage is provided. Allergy Advice An allergy advice booklet is provided with all deliveries. If you require further allergy advice, please speak with a member of staff. Specialist Diets A separate meal is provided to guests with specialist diets. These are delivered sealed and labelled with the dietary title. Please provide the names of guests requesting a specialist diet at the time of booking. Bookings and cancellation All bookings and cancellations for catering are required 14 working days in advance. Any cancellations after this period will be charged for.
