3 There s nothing extraordinary about my food philosophy, just a love of ingredients, a respect for those who grow them and a passion for sharing the results with people. I believe in well-presented dishes and giving diners a special experience with flavours, textures and aromas that they wouldn t come across every day. Quite simply though, the less the ingredient has to travel, the better quality it is. And, due to the symbiotic nature of chef and supplier, the closer your relationship the better chance you have of suppliers taking the time to share the secrets of their ingredients. Bookings of 12 guests or more are encouraged to dine from one of the following menus. Friday and Saturday nights this is a requirement for all large bookings. 10 guests is the minimum number that is required for these menus. These are served family style to share and inspire a social enjoyment of food. THE RESTAURANT

10 From company Christmas parties and Spring Carnival breakfasts to small meetings over lunch, tailored menus and wine matching dinners are available on request. Groups of up to 30 guests, depending on the date and time, can be accommodated over a number of tables in the dining room. Cocktail-style events can be hosted in either the upstairs bar space or the courtyard area. For corporate function inquiries and group booking requests, please contact the functions team directly on or functions@royalsaxon.com CORPORATE PROMOTION Our versatile upstairs space can be used for both large events and intimate presentations. The bifold doors and fixed high top tables will provide a relaxed atmosphere for your next meeting of up to 30 people. Our current three hour corporate promotion includes: - Room hire - Data projector & screen - Wi-Fi connections - Fully integrated sound system - Complimentary iced water, tea & coffee $300 FOR THE FIRST THREE HOURS *VALID MONDAY THROUGH TILL THURSDAY DURING BUSINESS HOURS CORPORATE EVENTS

11 BOOKING CONFIRMATION Tentative bookings must be confirmed within 7 days, along with the payment of a deposit, and/or credit card details to hold on file. Unconfirmed bookings may be cancelled after this time and the area re-allocated without notice. Credit card details are required at the time of large casual bookings (6 people and over) to secure the reservation. DEPOSITS AND MINIMUM SPEND A deposit of $500 is required to confirm exclusive events at the Royal Saxon. Deposits can be paid by EFT, all major credit cards (except DINERS) and EFTPOS. We also require credit card details to hold on file, if there is an account running throughout the duration of your event. Minimum spends are dependent on the time and duration of your event, and determined in line with estimated turnover obtained in regular trade in the proposed function area. If the minimum spend is not met, the additional charge will become a room hire fee and will be payable on completion of the function. FINAL PAYMENT If there is a running bar tab or food account, payment in full is required on completion of the event. No account balance will be carried forward past the event completion. No separate accounts or personal cheques will be accepted unless pre-approved by the management of Royal Saxon. All accounts are to be settled prior to, or on the day of the event. MENU CONFIRMATION Should you wish arrange a sharing or set menu, or pre-order food selections such as canapes and/or function pizzas, these are require no later than 10 days prior to the event. Changes can be made up to 7 days prior. FINAL NUMBERS The confirmation of final number of guests attending the event is required 7 days prior to the day of your event. The number of guests confirmed at this time will be the minimum number that is charged for. 10 people is the minimum number we offer sharing or set menus, and will act as the minimum amount to be charged. EXTERNAL FOOD No food or beverage is to be brought into the venue from any external source. Should the Royal Saxon grant permission for the client to bring any externally catered food items onto the premises we will not be held liable for any consequence as a result of improper food handling. Cakeage provided by Royal Saxon must be requested at time of confirming booking, this fee is $3 per person, capped at 12 guests ($36). LARGE CASUAL BOOKING CANCELLATION Any no shows or late cancellations within 24 hours of the event will incur a $10 per head cancellation fee, to the limit of 20 guests ($200). You will be contacted prior to processing this amount to the provided credit card. CANCELLATION OF EVENT (WITH DEPOSIT) Cancelling a function after the deposit has been paid can only be done by consulting directly with management, and only by the person who paid the initial deposit. Any cancellation 2 months prior to the date of an event will be reimbursed the full deposit. Any cancellation less than 2 month prior to an event, forfeits 50% of the deposit paid. If a client cancels within 14 days of the event date, the client shall forfeit the full deposit paid. RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL In accordance with the liquor licensing regulations, Royal Saxon reserves the right to refuse the supply of alcoholic beverages to any guests that are deemed to be inebriated, or to guests that are either under the legal age or not accompanied by their legal guardian. PRICE & PRODUCT VARITIONS While every effort is made to maintain prices quoted at the time of booking, Royal Saxon reserves the right to adjust prices without notice according to fluctuations in market prices. All prices include GST and are current at the time of the quotation. A surcharge may apply to public holidays and New Years Eve. COMMENCEMENT AND CONCLUSION The organiser agrees to commence & conclude the event at the times agreed upon. All events must conclude by 1am Monday to Saturday, and 11pm Sunday night. All guests are required to leave the premises quietly and discreetly. All reservations will be held for maximum 30 minutes from original booking time. After which your reserved tables will be forfeited. TERMS & CONDITIONS

12 GUEST ENTRY Guest entry to functions will only be permitted in accordance with agreed start and finish times. It is recommended that your guests arrive at the venue prior to 9pm, as the venue is unable to guarantee entry after this time. Additional function guests (above and beyond the numbers of guests confirmed) may only be admitted in accordance with the venue s licensed capacity. DECORATION Nothing is to be nailed, screwed or adhered to any part of the wall or surface of the venue. Requests for signage or decoration must be approved and confirmed by the Royal Saxon. Strictly no confetti, glitter or table scatters are allowed on the premises at any time. No external audio equipment is permitted within the venue. CLEANING & DAMAGES General cleaning is included in the cost of the function. If excessive room cleaning is required, an additional cost will be charged at management discretion. Clients are financially responsible for any damage sustained to the venue, its contents and property prior to, during or after the event by the client, guests or contractors engaged by the client. LIABILITY If Royal Saxon has reason to believe that the event will adversely affect the integrity of the business or any clientele at the time, management reserves the right to terminate all event activity and agreements. SECURITY The venue management reserves the right to exclude or eject any objectionable persons from the premises. In addition, the management reserves the right to stop any entertainment or other activity, which, in their opinion is illegal, improper, indecent or unsafe and is likely to be a nuisance. INDEMNITIES The client releases and indemnifies Royal Saxon, its employees, its contractors and agents from and against any liability or damage, including any negligent act or omission of, arising from the event. The venue management will take all necessary care, but does not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of goods left on premises prior to, during or after an event. TERMS & CONDITIONS cont.
