3 Report prepared for ITC s Week 9 - A Price Statistics Only Issue Please note the following: The Weekly Price Report (focus on price information) is available on the MNS Web site every Friday with data related to the week. The (MNS) Tropical and Off-season Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Weekly Report presents price quotations for those products for which current information is not commonly available but that are of substantial importance to a significant number of developing countries and have promising market potential. MNS objective is to provide indications on market prices and trends to support producers, exporters, sector associations and other private or public organizations in their decisions and planning; MNS aims to serve as a market intelligence tool to facilitate trade and improve market transparency. The MNS Fruit & Vegetable weekly report provide quotations from web based information sources and selected importers in 4 major European markets. MNS quotations are price indications that give a global view of the market; prices are average wholesale market prices. If not otherwise stated prices are per kg, products imported by air; all prices are in Euro (rate of exchanges for conversion in local currencies are annexed). Lists of products quoted in the report and abbreviations used are included at the end of the document. We continuously encourage and welcome new sources of information.
