2 Who are we? George s is the kind of cocktail bar you wish you d stumbled into years ago. Nestled just off Brunswick Street on Johnston street, we like to think of ourselves as your home away from home. Like a party in your living room with your best mates (and a way better bar). Our talented bartenders are as good at mixing cocktails as they are whipping you up a toastie when you re a bit peckish. So whether you re after a classy affair or a low-key shindig, a pre or post event get-together, work event, special occasion, or a just because, we can tailor something perfect for you. George s welcomes private functions 5 days per week, so there s no stress about coordinating everyone s schedules. We have a capacity of 100 standing room, but we love intimate events too. Our unique space is a perfect choice for your special event, and our beverage/food packages are available below for your perusal. Our venue is equipped with an in house sound system, ipod connection, microphones and a projector to cater for your every need. George s friendly and skilled team will ensure an event to remember, and are open to any requirements you may have. On consumption Guests may also have the option to access a cash bar to pay for their own drinks at bar prices. Bar Tab A pre- paid nominated amount can be placed on a bar tab controlled by you, with selected drinks or an open bar option also available. Food We offer a selection of toasties and have established relationships with several local restaurants who are happy to cater to your function needs.

4 GEORGE S BAR TERMS AND CONDITIONS Deposit and Payment A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. Final guest confirmations must take place no later than 7 days prior to the event. (This will determine the minimum charge regardless of attendance at the function.) Management reserves the right to cancel the booking should this payment not be received. Any cancellations less than 7 days notice will forfeit the 50% deposit. Food & Drinks Your chosen food and drinks package must be confirmed 2 weeks prior to your function. Payment of balance on food and drinks package is required at final guest confirmation. Additional food and drink items can be charged on the night via credit card or cash. House Rules Any additional requirements will be chargeable to you. Unfortunately due to licensing requirements, guests under 18 must leave the premise after 8.30pm regardless of parental supervision. Management reserves the right to discontinue service of alcohol or refuse entry to any underage or intoxicated patrons, as we are bound by the conditions of our liquor license. Damages You will be responsible for any repair costs for any fittings or fixtures in or around the premises which have been damaged by you or any of your guests. Any costs associated with repairs or replacements will be charged directly to your credit card. George s bar will not be responsible for loss or damage of property left on the premises during your function.
