2 The Region of Murcia is located in the south-east of Spain. It occupies a total surface area of 11,314 km 2 and 176 kilometres of coastline, and has a strategic position along the Spanish Mediterranean. Consignments of fresh fruit and vegetables continue to be Murcia s main exports. Sales of "legumes and root vegetables" and "edible fruit" together account for about 40% of total exports.

We currently commercialise 10,000 tonnes of our own lemons and a further 10,000 tonnes from our members, as well as 1,000 tonnes of early clementines, 1,000 tonnes of oranges (salustiana and navel late varieties) and 3,000 tonnes of lettuce.
