Productos Mediterráneo Belchi Salas S.L. is a traditional family business in the food sector which is open to new forms of quality management in all its aspects.

The secret of these products is that we elaborate them ourselves. Our crops are grown in one of the areas which receive the most hours of sunlight in the whole of Europe.

We are dedicated to the artisan production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and typical products of the Mediterranean basin which we commercialise under the brand name VILLAOLIVO. The secret of these products is that we elaborate them ourselves. Our crops are grown in one of the areas which receive the most hours of sunlight in the whole of Europe. We elaborate our products traditionally with only natural ingredients and NO additives. Extra Virgin Olive Oil The Extra Virgin Olive Oil that VILLAOLIVO offers is the authentic juice of olives grown in the valleys of south-east Spain. The olives come from a wise mixture of both centenary and young olive trees which are grown in a privileged climate next to the Mediterranean Sea. The oils are highly aromatic, fruity and fragrant, slightly bitter, full of flavour, noble and exquisite. Picual and cuquillo are the most predominant varieties of olive used in our oil. Picual olives provide the special flavour and cuquillo olives are an autochtonous variety from Murcia. The fruit is selected directly from the tree, rejecting any olive which has fallen on the ground. Molturation takes place in the olive oil processing plant (situated in the grounds) on the same day that the olives are picked and by means of a cold press and natural decantation. The oil is rested in our cellars where its excellent quality is maintained until it is bottled. This last process is carried out under an exhaustive control which protects the oil from its main enemies - humidity, air, light and heat. The Mediterranean Appetizer We try to collect traditional recipes from the Mediterranean to satisfy the most demanding consumers who are looking for authentic flavours. All of our products are made with VILLAOLIVO Extra Virgin Olive Oil which is carefully extracted from our very own olive trees. All of the recipes are free from preservatives and can be presented as hot or cold appetizers. They are ideal for family gatherings, meals with friends and other occasions where you want to sample something delicious. Because of its tasty, aesthetic and practical qualities, this range satisfies the demands of customers who appreciate the Mediterranean diet.
