These facilities are supported by our high quality four and a half star hotel accommodation and associated services including a full onsite restaurant and catering team that provide some of Mackay s finest cuisine. Marquee Ceremonies Ceremonies can be conducted within the Marquee or on the adjacent lawns (back and front) amongst a beautiful tropical garden setting or marina backdrop. 4 the marquee RECEPTION venue Located at the Clarion Hotel and overlooking the picturesque Mackay Marina, The Marquee provides an exciting and unique new wedding venue for Mackay. The stylish, freestanding marquee is perfectly positioned to catch cool ocean breezes and makes a striking impression amid the manicured lawns of the Clarion Hotel. Maximising its picturesque backdrop, guests enjoy ocean views by day, followed by the romance of the Marina lights as dusk rolls in. Available for both ceremonies and reception the Marquee can comfortably seat up to 300 guests or can be sectioned for a more intimate affair. The Marquee is the ultimate venue for truly impressive weddings - Where style meets setting! INCLUSIONS The Marquee is provided fully furnished and ready for your selected decorators final touch. 5 RECEPTION VENUES (available Sunday to Thursday) The Marina View 150 guests seated / 200 guests cocktail style The Marina View offers a unique aspect overlooking the tropical tranquillity of Mackay Marina. Recently remodelled the full length folding doors offer the ability to fully enclose the room in air-conditioned comfort or to enjoy the al-fresco feel where the indoor opens to the outdoor setting. Tastefully appointed with new furnishings the Marina View offers separate access to amenities including a private bar. Full audio visual facilities are built into to the room, allowing you to play your own video telegrams for all your guests to enjoy. The room opens out onto our outdoor Marina Terrace area, exclusive use is included in your venue hire. VENUE HIRE (Weddings) : $1,500 The Captain s Table Up to 30 guests A smaller function room that is perfect for intimate gatherings, private dining and engagement parties. The Captains Table is suitable for up to 30 guests and can be combined with the Marina View for additional dining space and buffet service area. With fully independent audio visual capability and separate access, this room is ideal for arrival and greeting drinks or private wedding breakfasts. AREA HIRE: $295 Honeymoon/Bridal Package $299 Includes Spa Suite, Breakfast for 2, Champagne and chocolates delivered to room.
