1 Welcome to Pulsfd Lodge On behalf myself and my team I would like to welcome you to Pulsfd Lodge. Our friendly staff are highlytrained, and our dedicated activities team are always coming up with new ideas to entertain our residents, including our popular garden club. I hope you find this pack helpful; please contact me f any further infmation come along f a chat and a cup of tea. Jo Fenn, Home Manager Pulsfd Lodge enjoys magnificent views over Exmo, and the surrounding countryside. The home has been significantly redeveloped and offers high quality, comftable accommodation in attractive landscaped gardens. All of our bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, and residents are actively encouraged to personalise their rooms. The accommodation consists of single rooms, most with en-suite facilities, offering permanent and respite accommodation. All rooms are single, however, if you are a couple you may wish to share a bedroom and use a second room as your own private sitting room. Pulsfd Lodge offers a number of lounges which are all well appointed, some overlooking the beautiful views of the Quantocks and Exmo, while others have patio areas leading out onto the level, landscaped gardens. We have our own hairdressing salon, Scisss, with a comftable lounge f you to relax and enjoy the company of other residents while awaiting your appointment. Serving delicious and nutritious meals Pulsfd Lodge benefits from its own kitchen and catering staff, with meals prepared daily on-site, to suit a wide range of dietary requirements. There are varied menus, ensuring plenty of choice f residents. These are served in the dining room, although residents may choose to have meals in their room if they prefer.

My Mum is so happy, what comft it gives me when I speak to her from Australia; you have put my mind at rest, thank you. - Son of a resident Keeping active Pulsfd Lodge has three activities co-dinats who ganise a variety of activities f residents to take part in. These range from arts and crafts, quizzes, reminiscence, individual one to one sessions, Life Sty activities, music and movement, film club, outings and our ever-popular gardening club. We have links with the local schools and are very much part of the community, contributing to our local 10 Radio. We have IT facilities available f all to use including Wi-Fi and Skype, which can be used to maintain contact with friends and relatives that may not live locally. 5 A warm welcome to Wiveliscombe Pulsfd Lodge is situated in the small market town of Wiveliscombe. A bit of histy Known affectionately as Wivey by the locals, Wiveliscombe is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The town is located at the foot of the Brendon Hills, near the bder between Somerset and Devon, with Exmo National Park on the dostep. The town s church of St Andrews dates from , and contains an octagonal font which iginates from the 14th century. There is a 14th century sandstone cross situated in the churchyard. The oldest place of wship in Wiveliscombe is the Congregational Chapel in Silver Street, built in 1708 as the Independent Chapel. Today, Wiveliscombe is home to two breweries, Cotleigh Brewery and Exmo Ales. It also has its own community radio station, 10 Radio.
