Frazer Bell, Business Manager Accommodating up to 90 residents, the modern, purpose-built home is located in Stockmo Village, with far-reaching views of the Sedgemo countryside. Stockmo Lodge takes over from the older Milton House building, with current staff and residents having moved over to the new home in spring Stockmo Lodge is located in easy reach of shops, cafes and other facilities. We have experienced and friendly staff who provide high quality nursing and dementia care in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The home s fantastic facilities include a hairdressing salon and coffee lounge. Bedrooms are large, with en-suite bathrooms including a walk-in shower, and come with a television included, and telephone points. Residents are welcome to personalise their rooms. Serving delicious and nutritious meals: Stockmo Lodge benefits from its own kitchen and catering staff, with meals prepared daily on-site, to suit a wide range of dietary requirements. There are varied menus, ensuring plenty of choice f residents. These are served in the dining rooms, although residents may choose to have meals in their room if they prefer.

We have IT facilities available f all to use including Wi-Fi and Skype, which can be used to maintain contact with friends and relatives that may not live locally. 5 A warm welcome to Stockmo Lodge is located in the busy town of, on the edge of the Somerset Levels. A bit of histy is a busy market town and civil parish in Somerset. A maj industrial centre, was a river pt with expts including wheat, wool, cloth, cement, bricks and tiles. The town is referenced in the Domesday Book and in the earlier Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, dating from the the late ninth century. was known f its markets and fairs; the annual fair takes place on St Matthew s Field, it dates from the mid 14th century and still takes place today. The Carnival has a long histy; the event was mentioned in journalistic recds in the 1860s and was officially recognised in The Carnival still takes place in November each year and is preceded by a two week Carnival Concert at the town hall. At one time, had its own castle, built in 1202, and destroyed in the 17th century. In 1685, the Duke of Monmouth declared himself King on the Cnhill in, and in other local towns, during the Monmouth Rebellion; befe being defeated and beheaded. Today, remains a maj centre f manufacturing, with a number of large businesses and several distribution centres making it their base.
